Out of prudence it is best to avoid priests ordained after Huonder came on the scene. We dont know much about where his oils went. Plus their formation went very much downhilll after that.

Fr. Goldade had 5 years under Bp Williamson, 1 year under Fr. Le Roux.
He was also the SSPX Seminary rector for a while -- if he wasn't on board the Neo-SSPX program and thinking they NEVER would have placed him in charge for forming future priests.

Think about it -- that's controlling AT THE SOURCE how many new priests will be liberal or conservative.

I've never heard of any of the other priests. Notice though, that the 4th bishop is only 36.

Even if the SSPX actually go ahead with these consecrations, they will never be excommunicated like Bishop Williamson was. And that will be your sign it was a stitch up in conjunction with Rome.


They should still be redlighted.

Fr. Goldade appears to run counter to the typical selection criteria in that it says he "speaks English" (I would hope so), "studied some" French, and has "some knowledge of" Spanish.  It's almost embarrassing that they have to list "speaks English" on his bio.

Being fluent in multiple languages (just in case you have to fill in somewhere else) has always been a prerequisite.

I do suspect this was a strategic move to energize St. Mary's in that a large defection of faithful from St. Mary's would put them in a huge pickle financially.

IMO:  I'm still highly unconvinced that these will happen as announced ... where I expect some kind of "last minute deal", IF the plan isn't to let them get excommunicated and suffer that loss of attendance which would put them in a bind.

Since the primary motivation is evidently for "Confirmations" (and that would be the bulk of their work) ... it would seem rather imprudent (though when has prudent been one of their strong points) to seelct Seminary Rectors, since that certainly interferes with their ability to teach and peform other duties at seminary, as we saw even with Bishop Williamson.
