With a promise of prayers for the repose of his soul. Due to reading Patrick Omlor's book, Questioning the Validity back in the 1960's I was preserved from the Novus Ordo church. I had the great privilege of meeting him when he visited Spokane several years ago and was able to personally thank him. May he rest in peace.

A very good soul has entered eternity. He fought the good fight and did so when many others had yet to see it. The way he, as a layman, was able to see the errors of the Novus Ordo and write against them so early on is a testimony to his zeal for learning the Faith and a perfect example of the gifts of Understanding and Fortitude operating in his soul. May he rest in peace.

Those of us who have been given the grace to keep the true Catholic faith in these days are much indebted to the zeal of Patrick Henry Omlor. I recall reading his first works in the late 60's (or was it early 70's?), and it was a consolation and strength to know that someone so far away was united in the same Catholic Faith, and zealously defending It. May he rest in peace.
