  • On September 1, 2020, Bishop Merrill W. B. Adamson, S.O.L.G. died. He was born a Roman Catholic in 1950, he spend most of his life in the state of California. He was ordained a priest in 1990 by Bishop Thaddeus Alioto. On September 4, 1999 he was consecrated a bishop by Bishop José Franklin Urbina Aznar. Please pray for the repose of his soul.

  • I am very curious about Adamson's lineage. I am not sure if Thuc actually consecrated Datessen. He also has succession via Roger Caro, a gnostic. I have seen photos of the sect and it looks traditional externally. I saw the granddaughter/grandson of Roger on a comment section on youtube before. Jose Urbina was also a pedophile allegedly. The diocese of Sacramento says he molested boys and intended on sodomizing them. I would still trust this lineage over a novus ordo "bishop's" though.

May Adamson rest in peace

  • Why does that name sound familiar to Trads, CathInfo readers specifically?

Who was recently ordained by him?

  • Just out of curiosity, was Bishop Adamson a convert from Mormonism?  That name --- "Merrill Adamson" --- sounds vaguely Utah Mormon-ish.  (Think Merlin Olsen.)
