Advocates monarchism and various Iberian aristocratic principles. some which are catholic.

Could you go into more detail about the Iberian nature of the aristocratic principles that they advocate ?  I am very curious about what you mean.  I have done a bit of reading about TFP and have perused a bit of their material over the years, but I suppose I don't know enough about the different aristocratic principles of this or that country to have noticed something uniquely Iberian about them (though their Brazilian origin and fixation on Spanish and Portuguese history was certainly a hint in that direction, in hindsight).  Also, I wonder why you would say that "some" of the principle are Catholic.  I have heard some rather strange things about TFP's organisation, but I am curious about your comment specifically in regard to the orthodoxy of the "aristocratic principles" in question.  Thanks !

Well, that was a somewhat tongue in cheek aside to Marian if she happens (she probably is) reading this forum.  It's all about the Portugal.   The true descendent of hte portuguese king/emperor is supposed to come out of the Brazilian lata fundi or something like that and save the counter-revolution.  This stuff is vague to me as I always thought that these guys were a little nuts, in a good sort of way.  I still use a rosary that a TFP friend gave me 20 years ago.  I was married in St. Mary's with an altar missal from 1949 he gave me as well.  Marian gave me this large rosary w/ these things called '''brazil stones"  that I called my " Protestant basher"   Kids have effectively destroyed that one.  It was tough, but not as tough as 4 young Catholic children.  TFP always maintians they've done so much to stop communism,  I always thought the Waffen SS did more.

As was mentioned, Fr. Rizzo is in Australia.  However, he is planning on coming back to the States this year, permanently.  I assume that the FSSP is transferring him back.

I know Fr. Rizzo, and I agree with greg that those events did happen.

TFP - On the face of it, they seem to be a great pro-life, Catholic group, but I do think, having had one member in our home to talk it over, that they hold off-beat views.  I suppose that's putting it nicely.  They seem devoted to Our Lady.  The man couldn't (or wouldn't) answer whether or not they 'prefer' the TLM or the NO when asked about the priest who administers to them in PA.  The man was really kind and certainly wholeheartedly into TFP, a true devotee to Plinio.  After he was here, I researched a little further and found some very interesting threads on IA about the group.  At some point, the bishop in Brazil, who originally liked Plinio and had him doing things for him to foster Catholicism, then cut him off.  I don't recall exactly why at the moment.  That's very off-the-top-of-my-head this morning.

That Bishop was Antonio De Castro-Meyer of the 88 consecrations w/ Abp. Lefevbre.   They atttend both NO and the real Mass.  Kinda speaks volumes if you ask me.
