YOU, and YOU ALONE are responsible for what you post UNDER YOUR OWN SCREEN NAME. That is the most basic rule of posting on CathInfo.
Clicking "quote", making zero changes (like a lazy person) does not absolve you of any responsibility for what YOU post. Notice that quoted text is at the top of YOUR Edit window? It's part of YOUR post. It's something YOU are posting. Doesn't matter if it came from a quote, appeared after a Paste operation, or something you typed by hand. It's ALL YOURS and you are responsible for 100% of it.
Anything you don't approve of, anything you don't want to be responsible for, should be DELETED before you hit Post. That's what the backspace key is for.
If something dangerous to souls, or to someone's reputation is found in something you posted, there will be consequences.
Maybe I'll start doing temp-bans for such "second hand" offensive content. I'm just fed up with having to edit 5 or 10 posts, because ONE idiot posted something salacious, slanderous, etc.
