Here are a couple of samples, first two parts of St. Alphonsus, The Glories of Mary.  I owe my conversion from Conciliarism to Traditional Catholicism to this book.  I hope everyone else can benefit from these as much as I do.

As for why I'm requesting donations ... it's actually quite simple.  Right now I am in the unfortunate position of having to work two jobs, which makes it very slow going to create these books.

If I could replace that income from my second job with donations for these books, I could quit that job and dedicate all that time to creating books, which would greatly accelerate their production.

Initially, this was a selfish endeavor, in the sense that I find myself so busy with my jobs, and don't have the time to spend on spiritual reading, where it's all I can do to get my Holy Rosary in ... and yet I found myself having to drive a fair bit, and/or if I'm out, say, mowing the grass (I use and electric/battery mower, so it's not terribly loud), etc.

I figured that with audiobooks, I could do my spiritual reading without having to find additional time.

Then I figured that I'd like to accelerate the pace of creating new materials, but find that I just can't go all that fast given that I have to work two jobs.

If this does happen to "take off", then the idea would be to have others join in, make some extra income, etc.  This is not a "for profit" venture, and I am not a believer that anyone should make a ton of money that's disproportionate to the amount of labor and expense they put into to it.  If we get contributions over and above what's fair compensation for my efforts, I would bring others on to help.  If we get even more than I could "reinvest" in this way, then I would donate to the Church and to the poor.  Call me "Communist" if you want (falling for that Hegelian propaganda), but I'm more "Distributist" really.

I also would pay according to the MIT "Living Wage" calculator, probably 50% margin above that, since I don't believe in that aspect of "capitalism" either, where some jackass could make millions doing nothing, while those who do the actual work can barely afford to live.

At the same time, I did not want to prevent anyone from benefitting from these simply for lack of funds.  Thus the "donations" based on an honor system rooted in Catholic morality and conscience.  I'm trying to make the donation amounts a reasonable balance between not giving us enough to work with to accelerate the work and being "too much", so, basically, roughly where 3 large coffees at Starbucks could be donated to get, say, the entire Douay-Rheims Challoner Bible.

At the same time, if it doesn't catch on, and people don't find value in it ... I'll just plod along produce these for my own benefit and for that of my family, just that the work will progress much more slowly than if I have some help.  It works out well that way, where if people do benefit then they can help "pay it forward" to produce books that others can benefit from ... but if they don't value these and benefit from them, then I'll just do it for myself and my family, and it kindof works out that way, in either direction.

... as God wills.

Could probably send a little in donations. Any chance of a way to donate that avoids paypal?
