From woman came the beginning of sin, and by her we all die. ~ Sirach 25:24, the Word of God transcribed and compiled by the Catholic Church
But by her we are also born.

If God never created woman, then there would be no babies, and Adam would be in the garden all by himself.

God could have made Adam another woman. If he had refused to be led astray by her.

this is the lesson for all Christian men. Today especially.

The moral of the story is most women are led by their emotions, which is an easy target for Satan.  Most men are led by the loss of woman and not wanting to be alone.

Therefor the quote in question is true in the big picture sense because women have more power to tempt people to sin.  The reverse is true though also.  Women have more power to guide people to virtue.

I am just expressing a thought that I am willing to change if someone comes up with something that makes more sense.
