If it’s the Mexican restaurant I’m thinking of in Front Royal, it’s excellent and there are plenty of seafood and vegetarian dishes to choose from.  They’ll make it more or less spicy according to taste. Not all Mexican food is hot. 

I’d love to come, but I’m too old, 63, although single, and it’s too far.  I used to visit Front Royal every summer for a week from 2005-2018.  After that, other obligations took priority, plus my good friend from there passed away last year. 

I hope the young adults (and the old ones!) have a good time and possibly meet their future husband or wife!

Aw...  Sorry about your friend...  Was she a traditional Catholic?  I wonder if we might know her.  I grew up in Front Royal.  

Was it Jalisco's?  That was our favorite Mexican food restaurant and their queso sauce was the best I have ever had!  They would make it extra spicy if you wanted it that way.  My eldest sister would go Matthew style and get it stuffed with a LOT of jalapenos.  
 
My brother and his wife used to go there for their date nights.  They made amazing steak and chicken fajitas topped with their cheese sauce. 

Sadly...  They closed down this year and are greatly missed.

I'm white & I also don't have a "palateless" tongue. Let's have a contest on who can handle spicy food, I bet you would lose. Anyways seafood is nasty, so have fun with that.

At the restaurant we are looking at, they have veggie options as well as seafood for those who wouldn't like that.  I mean...  You have to eat something on Friday. 

I wasn't a big seafood fan growing up but I have been to places and people's houses where they make it well.  

I am curious.  What do you usually eat on Fridays and what sort of restaurant would you go to on a Friday? 

Seafood Paella

I don't do restaurants on Friday or hardly ever because everything is gross. I really don't like other people touching my food. Anyways my cooking is much better anyways. Friday's I'll eat salads, pasta, fruit & vegetables anything that's not meat & seafood or just fast and eat nothing since it's a Friday. When I do visit a restaurant, it would be something like Morton's Steakhouse. I usually bring my own silverware also. Have to be careful these days (monkeypox & other diseases)

P.S.  Be careful of the lard in the refried beans in case no one is aware of that.

Oh dear!  That was it, Jaliscos.  Did they close because of the COVID nonsense?  
My friend’s first name was Sandy.  She used to have a Catholic gift and bookstore on the main drag downtown.  Yes, she was traditional, and very involved with Adoration.  She usually signed up for early on Monday morning.  It’s coming up on two years now that she passed away.  You probably did know her if you went to Latin Mass at St. John’s in town or bought homeschooling supplies.
