Matthew - Below is a great resource on dating and make/female interactions.

https://sigmagame.substack.com/

I have personally found the articles there to be true and useful and so have many others as can be seen in the comments.

The author is generally a good Christian, at least as one can be without being Catholic.

He has some pinned articles that explain his terminology and it's development. Hopefully this helps somewhat.

I know all that stuff already. The only "gap" in my knowledge is how much of this applies to TRAD CATHOLICS -- how much, how often, to what degree, parent-child dynamics, raising children in the world -- basically more data on "how Trads are doing in general" specifically with regards to PASSING ON Tradition, and the future of Tradition. And of course, Trad courtship. You only get that kind of information by talking to Trads IRL, or online.

This is one area Catholic churches could learn from protestants. Social gatherings. I had a protestant friend who went to a neighborhood church and they had social stuff going on pretty much every evening. It was quite possible for a person to have their entire social life fulfilled by only going to church activities. He met his wife at their church and so did numerous other members.

I've never been to a Catholic Church that fostered any kind of social movement. They have prayer gatherings, Rosaries, seminars from the priest, etc, but those aren't social and don't foster a way for the people attending to meet and interact with each other. I've been a member of my church for 6 years and still don't know anyone.

We are in a period of history where either we treat marriage like the medievals did, namely a Sacrament, ideally arranged through the fathers, or we take our chances with the world and the devil and all the bogus ideas surrounding marriage from that camp.

If you don't get this, I'm sorry, not sorry, but you're not gonna make it.

Yes I’ve noticed Protestant churches are FAR more social than Catholic Churches and put on far more events where younger people can meet. Definitely this is something the Catholic Parishes need to work on. I do think the future of trad Catholic dating is either through parish events, larger Catholic gatherings eg the Chartes Pilgrimage in France or dating apps and websites. God is going to work within our broken society and He will still bring us a holy spouse if we pray and Catholics actually get out there and mix. Of course some people will meet a non Catholic or even a non Christian who will be ready to convert (though this takes extra careful discernment).
