The Television is the tool of the devil. Always say the Rosary. Stay away from the near occasion of sin.
The TV is full of sin, and has corrupted three generations
of people into pagan life styles, that will lead them into
hell fire.

I'm new to this forum, and I've attached a screenshot of what I see when I view the first page of this thread.

Would somebody mind re-posting whatever was originally there?

Catholic movies?  Or movies to get Catholics to buy and watch tv?

“Those who knew the brilliant but mercurial Selznick understood his obsessive need for control. In finding Phylis Isley — and “discovering” Jennifer Jones — he now had a beautiful and talented young woman whose career and persona he could meticulously shape.

But his interest was more than professional, and by the time he cast her in the film that would make her famous —1943’s “The Song of Bernadette” — the two were lovers.

This was a tricky situation, even for the seemingly omnipotent Selznick. He was nearly two decades older than Jennifer, and married to Louis B. Mayer’s elder daughter Irene. Jennifer, in turn, was still wed to Walker, who was as emotionally fragile as he was gifted.”

Lucy quotes one sentence from Dr Benjamin Spock's "Baby and Child Care" to support her position that Little Ricky should not go to nursery school: "A good nursery school does not take the place of home." Ricky is suspicious, so he takes the book, repeats what Lucy has read, then continues the quotation: "A good nursery school doesn't take the place of the home; it adds to it. Most children benefit from a good nursery school. It is particularly valuable for the only child, for the child without much chance to play with others, and for the child who lives in a small apartment." Ricky's reading is faithful to the original, except that he leaves out the last part of Spock's advice: ". . . for the child whose mother finds him difficult to manage for any reason."
