When a man pursues a woman who is not traditional or morally upright, what is he pursuing? Her looks. How can it be otherwise, when everything else about her is in the realm of the potential? (There are many women who claim to “love Jesus” and dress like whores, and are covert feminists.)

And because he does have a shred of decency left, he tries to convert her. But this is a terrible state of affairs, because it is the woman who will be the primary educator of the children, not the man.

How can one verify that a woman desires to truly please God, when they have suddenly become morally upright because of their future spouse? Always suspicious, due to the affections present between the two. What happens when that future spouse disappoints them? Will their newfound faith/morals also go out the window? Probably.

You are wise. I've never had a girl I wanted around. I've had girls who liked me and wanted me to stay and would do anything no matter what to get to me. Foolishly in the past I believed these women without looking at their reputation as a big deal. That's what my family taught me. Thank God I always trusted my gut. Beautiful women pose no interest to me. I will only accept a woman that loves God, and has shown it throughout her life. That is not a preference.

You talk like you're at least 24, but your profile says you're 17. How about worry more about finishing high school and less about who you're going to marry? Maybe you're in the top .1% of young people on practical skills, maturity, and employment, but it's not crazy to presume your focus should be elsewhere. Your generation isn't known for rapid advancements in personal maturity and independence, but feel free to prove me wrong.

Our Lord and Our Lady will bless your holy desires in the manner that is best for your salvation, and if marriage is truly your vocation, I have no doubt that on account of these pure intentions and pious aspirations alone, God will provide you with the guidance and the means to provide for your future family, and lead your children and wife to Heaven. Persevere in all the duties of your state in life, and in prayer. Heaven is with you, and so are my prayers.
