I have long believed there are no coincidences when it comes to what God wants us to know. I discovered this when on the very same day as the cardinal Archbishop of Paris in France performed a canonical coronation of the statue of the Virgin of La Salette ..."
I heard many times that the Virgin of Guadalupe (1531 AD. )converted more souls than those lost to Luth erism and @nglic@nsz  etc. But rarely a mention that in the year

1531 – Henry VIII of England is recognized as supreme head of the Church of England?
    • To speculate a bit more, February 11 is now the Feast of the Apparition at Lourdes ie. I am the Immaculate Conception, and the exact day Henry Viii was recognized.

    • God is in control!

THE OCTAVE OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTIION
OF THE MOST BLESSED VIRGIN

Vol. 1 The Liturgical Year
Dom Prosper Gueranger

Let us once more devoutly reverence the mystery of Mary's Immaculate Conception: Our Emmanuel loves to see His Mother honored. After all, its it not for Him and for His sake that this bright star was prepared from all eternity, and created when the happy time fixed by the divine decree came? When we honour the Immaculate Concpetion of Mary, it is really to the divine mystery of the Incarnation that we are paying our just homage. Jesus and Mary cannot be separated, for Isaias tells us that She is the branch and He the Flower."

Jesus, while hanging on the cross said "Forgive them for they know not what they do."  That is even more true now than ever.  How do people know how to be proper Catholics?  By reading a book or by an example of what they see?  Books are helpful to us who have delved into old books and found the Truth, but most people do not do that, they watch and learn.

I truly understand the frustration you feel.  Most of us who have come to tradition came in fighting and realized that we were only making it worse.  The authority has to bring back Truth and all of us laity do not have that power.

Have you taken this to the White House and asked them to make the correction?  You might be surprised at the results.

No.

No you don't.

It literally flew right over your head about six times.

So this will be my last attempt to set you straight on this.

The "frustration" is with those ON THIS FORUM who hold what he wrote up as a good thing - which it wasn't - it was an evil. Dom Gueranger would agree.

I have no need to "correct" him NCR already did that - the White House responded with....crickets (go figure).

I corrected those ON HERE who said it was a good, when they should have looked closer at both WHAT HE ACTUALLY SAID and WHO HE IS ( a public - NOT personal - sinner who advocates for the slaughter of innocent life by the millions).

You seem to understand nothing about defending the faith, the honor of Mary, or scandal, I think you must have voted for him...:'(
Do you feel better because you said all that about me?

Correcting someone does not require you to be vile.

My message was commenting on the fact that most people do not know better.

Did the NCR send something directly to the White House?  They at least acknowledged that mentioning the Immaculate Conception was welcoming.

If all of us sent something to the White House, would that effect change?

It was beautiful Gray, thanks for posting it! Leave the puritans to criticize, it's what they do.

I guess I just keeping hoping for more Charity.  The passages in the new testament spoke Truth, but it didn't make people feel horrible.  Maybe I am missing something.  Or the insults that were then, don't feel like insults now. 🤷‍♀️
