I have a feeling dwindling support from Catholics made it necessary to toss us a bone. I hate to be a pessimist but as they build and consolidate the technocratic machine around us…… I can’t help it. I’m worried they are going to use the Vatican to consolidate all the religions. This is why the pope has become the new water carrier for the green agenda. The green angle is huge and affects everything from manufacturing down to our light switches in our home. They are going to push all of this invasive tech to save the earth planet and anyone who disagrees hates the earth and becomes and enemy of all life on earth 🙄 I think people underestimate the governments seriousness on this issue. The u.n is all about this sustainability agenda 2030 now. Agenda 21 no one believed but they accomplished all of their goals and are moving on to the next phase and the Vatican seems to be playing a major role in it. 1 world government 1 world religion.

I guess we just have to focus on the one bad thing in the speech. (Probably just human error and not a nefarious plot.) It was probably not some statement about when life begins like the NCR made it. Now the devil will get attention and the good that God might have wanted us to see, dissipates into oblivion.

It's a very common colloquial error, among people in general, to think of birth as being the beginning of life. Expectant parents say "we're going to have a baby", never "we have a baby". Just sloppy thinking.

My point, and I know no one really cares, is that if you focus on the demonic things of this world you play right into the hands of demons. Is that what you want? All people do these days is point out everyone's faults. And guess what you get when you do that? People looking for buckets..... I am just tired of the ideas that everything is leading to Hell. Around 1970 in I think it was The Remnant news paper, there was a very lengthy article beautifully written all about the Blessed Sacrament, what it is, some of It's history, miracles, tradition, devotions etc., and also all about how the conciliar church disregarded all of that and now comparatively was bent on disrespecting it. The whole article took up over 2 full pages in what was a full size newspaper and was full of wonderfully explained Catholic truths and how the Blessed Sacrament lost it's place in the Catholic Church.
It was written by a Presbyterian minister who said that he was saddened to see what happened to the Catholic Church, essentially overnight.
So whoever actually wrote that piece deserves credit because it was beautiful, regardless that some theological points were wrong.

i agree with you. The Trump is saviour Q people are crazy but it is still not right to demonise a person completely, we will be judged after our death and should apply the mercy to others that we wish to be applied to us. I think there will be surprises in the next life, the most unlikely people may get to Heaven and the most unexpected people will end up in Hell. We should try to focus on the good in everyone as much as is possible. Obviously this doesn’t mean being an idiot and endangering our families, but view everyone through the lens of mercy.

I am not American but I’d imagine that the Americans who voted for Trump yet openly criticise Pope Leo are viewing them both through a different lens. Leo is actually supposed to be Catholic (as the head of the Catholic Church 😀). Trump has never professed to be Catholic or even Christian yet has done more to save unborn babies than any other president and does seem to be making some statements and gestures favourable to Catholicism. It’s clear he’s a deeply flawed individual but so are the majority of world leaders. Moving in the circles he has, he has likely had more temptations thrown in his way than Mose of us. In any case, praying for his conversion and acknowledging the good he has done is perfectly justified. I would also take a similar attitude to Pope Leo as the pressure on him from the Curia set up by his predecessor is likely very great… we need to pray for him too.

I am not swooning over Trump. I am pointing out that something from the White House, a very political influential place in the world, gave Honor to the Immaculate Conception with pre Vatican 2 information. If "Pope" Leo threw out Vatican 2 and became a True Catholic, then I would say something favorable about the "Pope."

Telling people the truth is charity.

What "pre-Vatican 2 information" says, "God became man when Mary gave birth to a son, Jesus."?
So, while your intentions may have been 100% good, your application falls short, NOT because of you, but because of your chosen subject (Trump).
He cannot honor the Blessed Virgin while denigrating Her Son.
It may have even been a unintentional error, but even, then God would not allow this enormous enemy of truth and justice to speak smoothly about his Mother without having him put his golden-toed shoe in his mouth and colossally fail at his attempt to placate liberal Catholics into thinking, "oh how wonderful, see he honors Mary like us - maybe he is close to converting..."

Truth and Goodness converts people, not anger and wrath. It is charity to correct errors, but that energy should have been directed to the White House. Pointing out others faults to publicly complain about them is not Charity. Or to publicly shame people is not Charity either.

I am pointing out that something from the White House, a very political influential place in the world, gave Honor to the Immaculate Conception with pre Vatican 2 information. If "Pope" Leo threw out Vatican 2 and became a True Catholic, then I would say something favorable about the "Pope."

My philosophy is ignore the bad fruits and give better fruits. People keep doing the same thing and it is not getting any better. The devil is having a hey day because everyone is paying attention to the devil and his mininions. God will not fix things until His people see Him. But nobody wants to hear that, nobody wants to believe that, so the beatings are definitely going to continue until moral improves.

Yes, it is just another example of traditional Catholics who care more about earthly things than heavenly things. They will overlook the evil that their political savior, Donald "we have no king but Caesar" Trump, is involved in. They don't see how he manipulates them.

Everyone and everything is a mixture of good and evil from the minute humans were kicked out of the garden. Except for God and His Truths. The Catholic Church teaches us God's Truth and currently that is shambles with only a few remnant that know how to practice the Faith.

The Spiritual life teaches us to ignore evil. The more attention you give to evil the more power you give it. Modernism gets a foothold in indifferentism. People don't care what God wants. Do what God wants. Always be focused on God and His Truth and Beauty and people may be in awe and want to understand. Most people do not convert because you give them "vinegar" They convert because they see noble courage. Or some other virtue practiced well.
