  • It is charity to correct errors, but that energy should have been directed to the White House.
    It was by NCR.

Now it is some others on this thread that need correcting, for doubling down on his post of Christological error to absolve themselves of falling for his flattery.

Pointing out others faults to publicly complain about them is not Charity.  Or to publicly shame people is not Charity either.
Now you are projecting on to me.

You deny me the same charity I showed you.

You assume my intentions are evil.

I never assumed that about you or anyone else who comment on this thread.

  • Grey that’s the same way the lying jerk hooked us all. Right now he’s loosing our support in droves if it was not politically expedient right now,  as the analytics guided him he would not have let that come out. Don’t forget Peter theil’s boy J.D Vance is Opus Dei. What kills me is how well these tactics work.  Know them by their fruits!
My philosophy is ignore the bad fruits and give better fruits.  People keep doing the same thing and it is not getting any better.  The devil is having a hey day because everyone is paying attention to the devil and his mininions.  God will not fix things until His people see Him.  But nobody wants to hear that, nobody wants to believe that, so the beatings are definitely going to continue until moral improves.

  •  God will not fix things until His people see Him.
I am sorry to tell you this as you seem a gentle nice old lady, but your just gushing emotion right now.

God will fix things....WHEN HE IS READY!

He acts in His own time, in His own way, and doesn't require you or I for any of His plans whatsoever.

Trying to "cherry pick" good may help you maintain a healthy balance - good for you.

I think it is to syncratically mix with error and thus slowly become liberal-minded.

Sure there is good in everyone.

There is good, truth, and beauty all around us.

God is good. His Truth is always shining forth.

But evil is also real, and needs to be denounced, not glossed over, ignored, defended, or patronized. That is the way of Vatican II and you can clearly see where that has lead.

Don't aid Trump in spreading more lies.

I know that is not your intention.

  • It is an error about the Incarnation - not just some accident.

Even if one still held to something like delayed ensoulment, it would still be a monstrous error.

It isn't beautiful - it is a Christological insult wrapped in a flowery speech about Mary.

Which, actually makes sense if he was trying to curry favor with "Catholics", but he doesn't have the faith so he let a monster slip out and no one here who read it even blinked.

Remember who you are dealing with.

"I'm the Daddy of IVF" - pro abort Trump.

So in that sense, his "accidental" error takes on a bit of a different angle...

I will give credit where credit is due.

NCR are a bunch of Novus Ordite bought schlemiels, but once in awhile the get something right.

But, "No, no it was probably just his ghostwriter and/or just a harmless mistake and now NCR has ruined everything!" ::)

Simple point, the man many of you think is Pope says wonderful flowerly things about Mary, Jesus, the saints, and everything else you love all the time. But you could give a crap less what he has to say and no one opines about the "beauty" of what Leo just said.

You detest Leo for his adherence to Vatican II and all the other errors even while you think of him as Pope.

Now, I think we can all agree that most everyone here believes Trump is the actual President of the U.S.

I think we can all agree that he is not Catholic.

I think we can all agree he is pro-abort/IVF.

But he posts some drivel like this on his webpage and everyone croons, "b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, "lovely", "how nice", etc. while he is spreading a Christological error!

    Someone pass me the bucket...

Yes, it is just another example of traditional Catholics who care more about earthly things than heavenly things. They will overlook the evil that their political savior, Donald "we have no king but Caesar" Trump, is involved in. They don't see how he manipulates them.

  • It was by NCR.

Did you not post it in the name of Charity to bring down the thread?

If you wanted to start a new discussion that would have made more sense.

Now it is some others on this thread that need correcting, for doubling down on his post of Christological error to absolve themselves of falling for his flattery.

So you started it and now you have more stuff you have to correct.

Now you are projecting on to me.

I am sorry you feel that way.  I thought we were just discussing it.

You deny me the same charity I showed you.

Show me my lack of charity.  Show me how grubby for all those buckets was charity.

You assume my intentions are evil.

I don't assume anything about you personal intentions.  The way you delivered it was what I took issue with.  ie the buckets

I never assumed that about you or anyone else who comment on this thread.

I don't think anyone on CI is trying to be malicious.  It is just an online forum and most of the time the emotions we think people are using and their intent is just wrong.

  • I am sorry to tell you this as you seem a gentle nice old lady, but your just gushing emotion right now.

Really?  Isn't that a patronizing statement filled with emotion.

God will fix things....WHEN HE IS READY!

Of course.  But if we are looking at the evil we won't be ready for God.

He acts in His own time, in His own way, and doesn't require you or I for any of His plans whatsoever.

    I agree

Trying to "cherry pick" good may help you maintain a healthy balance - good for you.

Not focusing on evil I have no control over.  We don't have any power in the government.

I think it is to syncratically mix with error and thus slowly become liberal-minded.

Everyone and everything is a mixture of good and evil from the minute humans were kicked out of the garden.  Except for God and His Truths.  The Catholic Church teaches us God's Truth and currently that is shambles with only a few remnant that know how to practice the Faith.

The Spiritual life teaches us to ignore evil.  The more attention you give to evil the more power you give it.  Modernism gets a foothold in indifferentism.  People don't care what God wants.  Do what God wants. Always be focused on God and His Truth and Beauty and people may be in awe and want to understand.  Most people do not convert because you give them "vinegar"  They convert because they see noble courage.  Or some other virtue practiced well.

Don't aid Trump in spreading more lies.

I know that is not your intention.

Well thank you for saying that.
