What a load of garbage.

If it was Leo saying it you would be all over him.

With this insane and twisted logic, you should be reading whatever Leo says and making the same defense, "Oh, will we just throw out all that lovely stuff he said because of one bad thing!"

You messed up and thought the pervert, adulterer, heretic, most-likely-Mason, and seemingly unrepentant President had done something "beautiful".

Then you get called out and rather than - reflect on the enormity of his PUBLIC crimes and now his PUBLIC ERROR AGAINST THE INCARNATION - you triple down like narnarboboheads and use some genial-snowflake-sentimentality to cover your gaff cloaking it in a false pretense of chwarity.

But, I suppose you would have to if you voted for him - to sooth you troubled conscience...

Don't misunderstand, what makes me sick is all of this pro-Trump swooning and crooning, "oh how beautiful, he said some lovely things about Mary and never mind that he said Jesus was not made man until he was born." 🤮
You haven't been here long have you.  I have no secret agenda. The question of the "Pope" is a complicated one.  I live by this principle.

Quote
Matthew 22

36 Master, which is the greatest commandment in the law?  37 Jesus said to him: Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole mind.  38 This is the greatest and the first commandment.  39 And the second is like to this: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.  40 On these two commandments dependeth the whole law and the prophets.
I am not swooning over Trump.  I am pointing out that something from the White House, a very political influential place in the world, gave Honor to the Immaculate Conception with pre Vatican 2 information.  If "Pope" Leo threw out Vatican 2 and became a True Catholic, then I would say something favorable about the "Pope."

Maybe you should get your story straight.  I never looked at this as a Trump thing.

Someone else made it that.

From my perspective, I think you have made a glimmer of goodness ugly.  If all glimmers are snuffed out, then when will Truth shine?

Truth and Goodness converts people, not anger and wrath.  It is charity to correct errors, but that energy should have been directed to the White House.  Pointing out others faults to publicly complain about them is not Charity.  Or to publicly shame people is not Charity either.

Grey that’s the same way the lying jerk hooked us all. Right now he’s loosing our support in droves if it was not politically expedient right now,  as the analytics guided him he would not have let that come out. Don’t forget Peter theil’s boy J.D Vance is Opus Dei. What kills me is how well these tactics work.  Know them by their fruits!

My philosophy is ignore the bad fruits and give better fruits.  People keep doing the same thing and it is not getting any better.  The devil is having a hey day because everyone is paying attention to the devil and his mininions.  God will not fix things until His people see Him.  But nobody wants to hear that, nobody wants to believe that, so the beatings are definitely going to continue until moral improves.

It is an error about the Incarnation - not just some accident.

Even if one still held to something like delayed ensoulment, it would still be a monstrous error.

It isn't beautiful - it is a Christological insult wrapped in a flowery speech about Mary.

Which, actually makes sense if he was trying to curry favor with "Catholics", but he doesn't have the faith so he let a monster slip out and no one here who read it even blinked.

Remember who you are dealing with.

"I'm the Daddy of IVF" - pro abort Trump.

So in that sense, his "accidental" error takes on a bit of a different angle...

I will give credit where credit is due.

NCR are a bunch of Novus Ordite bought schlemiels, but once in awhile the get something right.

But, "No, no it was probably just his ghostwriter and/or just a harmless mistake and now NCR has ruined everything!" ::)

Simple point, the man many of you think is Pope says wonderful flowerly things about Mary, Jesus, the saints, and everything else you love all the time. But you could give a crap less what he has to say and no one opines about the "beauty" of what Leo just said.

You detest Leo for his adherence to Vatican II and all the other errors even while you think of him as Pope.

Now, I think we can all agree that most everyone here believes Trump is the actual President of the U.S.

I think we can all agree that he is not Catholic.

I think we can all agree he is pro-abort/IVF.

But he posts some drivel like this on his webpage and everyone croons, "b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l, "lovely", "how nice", etc. while he is spreading a Christological error!

Someone pass me the bucket...

Yes, it is just another example of traditional Catholics who care more about earthly things than heavenly things. They will overlook the evil that their political savior, Donald "we have no king but Caesar" Trump, is involved in. They don't see how he manipulates them.
