For Those Who Live In The CIty
« on: August 26, 2019, 01:27:05 PM »
In the city there are so many rules. There are so many rules that people do not obey most of them. But as a penance I am trying to obey the crosswalk signals. So when they say don't walk I don't walk and when they say walk I walk. Many of the signals are retarded and many of them are useful. But I started listening to the retarded ones as well and never crossing against the lights. Sometimes I wait for three hours to cross the street and sometimes I wait an eternity. But it is a good penance. I hope the poor souls appreciate it. Little things we can do.

I have this strange belief that if you obey the walk signals perfectly and never cross against them they will fall from their poles and never return and then people can go back to the garden of Eden. Or as close to it as we can, so we can see the angel's sword of fire like Moses saw the Holy Land from the desert before Our Lord buried him in the sand.

3 hours for a walk sign....? That seems pretty weird!

Maybe you should try something else for penance like no more sweets, or not taking the last bite of food off your plate (or taking just a little bit less then normal so that way there is no waste), watching less tv, instead of reading your favorite book pray a rosary.

I hope your appointment goes well today I’m praying for you!

Thank you for your prayers. My appointment with the doctor went well, but I was not able to go to therapy because of a screw up. But I am fine and appreciate all the prayers than anyone sends our way.

Dear Matto,
How can I say this without being unkind or scaring you off?  I’m not sure I can, so Ill just say it.  Your belief is indeed strange.  It is more than strange, it’s abnormal. Unless you’re just sharing a bizarre figment of an active imagination, PLEASE get help.  If you you really hold to this “belief” as such, something is wrong with you, spiritually, mentally.  You are under attack by something or someone so your brain is playing tricks on you.  I fear for your well-being.  Please call a priest NOW if you really believe as you say.  Don’t bother with the medical doctor or psychologist unless he or she is a traditional Catholic.  With all due respect, your sense of ability to judge and interpret reality is off kilter.   You mentioned being hospitalized and placed on medications.  Please know that these can have many terrible side effects, including mental impairment.  However, do not just quit taking them.  Some medications must be medically supervised in order to stop taking them or even worse harm can result.
CathInfo folks!  If you agree and care about Matto, please respond on this thread and by PM.
I hope you’re not angry, Matto, but I’ve seen this is others and know what I’m talking about.
We’ll all pray for you.
Seraphina

Seraphina, I sort of hoped that Matto was using hyperbole, but what you say sounds right. I also would be concerned about the therapy which he didn't start because of a screw up. How safe is it? We must all up our efforts for Matto for his health and peace. I will say a rosary for you now, Matto.
