Good book.  It tells how Freemasons manipulate women fashions for evil purposes.
May God bless you and keep you

  • Except for when I attend church it's very rare that I see a woman wearing a dress when I'm out in public.
Nearly every woman wears pants or even worse...those yoga tights that leave little to the imagination.
I can't help but think that this has contributed to more masculine traits in women, which has further
divided the sexes by obscuring traditional gender roles.
With the way Western women have gone so far off the rails in their dress and behavior I'm tempted to
think that Islam has done a far better job at containing their immorality.
And before some harpy comes chiming in about men's attire I fully acknowledge how lamentable their
    sartorial choices are as well.
From what I have seen...  Social norm and pressure is the reason why most Muslim women dress modestly...

I am sure that there are exceptions but in general most Muslim women I have seen wear dresses more because they are forced or pressured to than for the sake of modesty.  In the U.S. it is not uncommon to see Muslim women who attend college without their parents watching over them to give up dresses or any sort of modest attire.  I say this from experience as many Muslim women went to colleges near my parent's horse farm and would come riding by us.  They usually dressed as any modern American woman would...

True modesty comes from the heart in an attempt to please God.  Since God is generally taken out of the picture in most people's lives these days (or at least made secondary) hence the reason immodesty is so common.

I know many traditional Catholic women who always wear dresses even when not at Mass.  Yet, even in traditional circles, this is not always common...

True modesty can not be forced...but we can try to be a good example by dressing ourselves and our children modestly in an attempt to encourage more women to do so as well.

  • "Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • Open or tight shirts
Shirts like that remind me of the 80s.  It is just not a good look on a guy.  A guy in formal clothes is much better and more modest, even just khaki pants and a polo shirt is better than that.

1 Corinthians: Chapter 13 "4 Charity is patient, is kind: charity envieth not, dealeth not perversely; is not puffed up; 5 Is not ambitious, seeketh not her own, is not provoked to anger, thinketh no evil;"
