  • Honestly the most durable rosaries I have are just the cheap ones with plastic beads and string or rope. I have bad luck with rosaries made with the metal chain links or whatever. I would go with something rope.
Yeah, that's why I'm leaning more towards a cord rosary, either like Stubborn suggested, or some other examples people have posted. My sister bought me an old chain one with wood beads a while ago, and the link came undone after first use so I haven't touched it since as it seems to be quite delicate.

One would think the "battle beads" would hold up, but, I guess not if used daily.

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

  • Great rosaries. American made with parts from USA, Italy, Brazil, Philippines. Lifetime guarantee. They replaced a wooden bead that cracked asap and paid for shipping. I pray 15 mysteries on it every day.

  • I've bought about 10 nylon rosaries.

They don't make noise, so it is easy to lose one in a pocket, but then again, I haven't managed to damage one yet by having it in the washing machine when its left in a pocket.

You're selling me on the investment, especially since it's going to a family business.

  • I found what looks like a durable chain-type rosary on eBay.

    Handmade Olive wood Rosary

    From this shop

    Olive Orchard Rosaries

They do have other beads such as glass and stone. I don’t have one, but they do look durable and I just may buy one.
