I actually believe that by the time we have a Holy Pope, it'll coincide with the major chastisement and a conversion of the world, possibly including a  3 Days' darkness, where a lot of those who despise the Church will be eliminated.
There are multiple prophecies (like St John Bosco's vision of the ships on the stormy sea) which predict 1 or 2 orthodox popes (one of whom is martyred) who rule the Church during the chaotic times of social upheaval before the "Angelic Pope" is elected.  Both of these popes are good men but their reign is VERY short, even less than a year.  As soon as they are recognized as being orthodox, they and the Church are persecuted.  But the Church survives this onslaught until the Angelic Pope's time arrives.

Almost immediately after he is elected, the holy man who is yet-to-be-crowned-king rises up to fight the evil forces and wins some battles in France, then outside Europe.  Then the Angelic Pope elects him Monarch and Christendom rallies around him as he defeats our enemies.  Then the Angelic Pope and the Great Monarch rule over the world during the period of peace.

Prophecies aren't set in stone, so who knows.

Agree, iirc prophecies of the GM and Holy Pope coincide with the 3 days, after which they work to restore Christendom and the Church among the remnant.
A Chastisement is literally the only way out of this mess at this point. The rot is too deeply ingrained.
The prophecies consistently say that both arrive before the 3 days of Darkness.  The chastisement I think happens before the 3 Days - the spiritual part being the last 70 years of V2, the social part being the political/religious persecution to come, and the natural part being the scripturally foretold of natural disasters, famines, etc.  The 3 Days happens once the good guys are already battling the bad guys out in the open; the 3 Days of Darkness is a good thing, in that it is God's judgement upon the wicked.  It is the end of the evil of the 5th age, and the beginning of the period of peace of the 6th age.  It is God "rebooting" society, so to speak.

The good news is, even if many of us don't live beyond the 3 Days of Darkness, we may see the hopeful (yet chaotic) times where we have an orthodox pope and a true 'white hat' leader in a future king.

My worldly goals are to see the conversion of my wife, and living to see the rise of the Great Monarch and Holy Pope. Outside of that, may God take me when He wills.

  • Absolute garbage.

Clearly Archbishop Vigano is NOW a Traditionalist.  You only have to read what he writes.  So no one who hasn't been a Traditional Catholic his entire life can be considered a "Traditionalist"?  Many of us grew up NO.  So, after we converted to Tradition, we were not "true" Traditionalists?  You have to be a cradle Traditionalist to be a Traditionalist?

I speculated early on, and this was confirmed by +Vigano himself later, that he converted and came around after he started offering the Tridentine Mass.  He went into hiding and took advantage of the Motu to begin offering the Mass, and exposure to the True Catholic Mass is the greatest teacher.

This clown can go buzz off.  Tradition is not in need of his idiotic blogging.

Having good priests, individual, families, while all important, does not suffice.  Without Catholic leadership, it's just fragmented life-support mode that the Church remains in.  Bishop Williamson refers to it, quite aptly, as a "pilot light".

Who is this jackass blogging this?  Link doesn't work for me.
From what I've seen on Twitter, the main problem that people like rorate have with +Vigano is that he only writes but he doesn't ordain priests or open seminaries.

That may be true, but it's not mentioned in the little blurb by "New Catholic" at Rorate Caeli, regarding his problems with +Vigano, and his accusation that +Vigano is not a trad.
"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

  • The words 'An appeal to the Third Rome' is little short of a declaration of schism. For all his faults, Francis has been moderate on this, trying to call Pres Putin in the early days.

  • I suspect it runs deeper than ++Vigano is not ordaining, consecrating, etc. in retirement, but that "new Catholic" is unwittingly 100% in the tank for The Great Reset. See the vile twit(er) post below. Also keep in mind that RC was soft to the point of self-destructive insanity regarding clot shots.

Still astonished with the cretinous dishonest euphemism of Vigano (or the Pseudo-Vigano who writes his prolix harangues) calling the WAR of aggression, the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, simply “the Russia-Ukraine crisis.”

It’s like calling a murder a “person to person crisis”…
