Do you believe people go to hell for refusing to believe Catholic Dogma as defined by Holy Mother Church? I am referring to all Dogmas of the Catholic Church . I am not singling out certain Dogmas. My question is a generalization of all Dogmas of Holy Mother Church.

I'd say sin is the reason people end up in hell. It could be original sin, the sin of disbelief, or a single mortal sin of a variety of types. Do you believe if a man formulates his conscience according to the catechism and acts according to his informed conscience, that he will be damned because he didn't agree with your reading of the canons and decrees of the Council of Trent?

It would be comparatively easy for us to be holy if only we could always see the character of our neighbours either in soft shade or with the kindly deceits of moonlight upon them. Of course, we are not to grow blind to evil

I hope this thread is not about BOD.

This thread is about all defined dogmas of the one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. If you do not deny any dogmas as defined by Holy Mother Church and you are not in the state of Mortal Sin, you are in good standing with The Church.

By the way, when you say "defined dogmas", are you referring only to teachings of the Church that were officially decreed? I ask because dogmas of the Church consist of more than just what has been specifically defined by a pope or Council. With that in mind, "defined dogmas" are only a small portion of the overall Church teaching we must believe.

Waiting for clarification from Truth Is Eternal....
