  • That is supposed to be a tabernacle atop that pillar on the left side, complete with a built-in, electric "flame" sanctuary lamp [sic].

  • Novus Ordo, of course, has a million of them, but those last two are SSPX churches in Spain.

  • My submission is the "Catholic" Cathedral in Liverpool England, which goes by the nickname "Paddy's Wigwam". It is execrable inside and out...

Pretty bad as is, but it is even more ugly and frustrating when the Anglican cathedral in the same city looks like this (see below): "Could we trade?" haha

  • I’ll never forget seeing this underground “basilica”. I thought I was in the pit of Hell.

For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

  • Not a church. I have been in this wretched place. It does not really appear this way. This image comes from using a wide-angle lens. The hall sure is ugly though! 🤮

Yeah, someone created the serpentine look using a wide angle lens, but, as you said, it's hideous nonetheless, and it is hard to "unsee" the serpentine aspects, the two pillars that could be fants and the side windows eyes.

Here's a side view without the extra curvature of the sides ...

And then there's this monstrosity up front ...

  • What is that big yellow thing that is supposed to be radiating out of Our Lady's right hand?  The only thing I can remotely imagine is the Miracle of the Sun at Fatima.

With what looks like a tiara and the short hair, I'm vaguely reminded of Queen Elizabeth II.

At least the altar appears to be made out of some kind of marble, and it seems to be set up for the TLM.  The crucifix is also quite traditional.  Aside from the bizarre representation of Our Lady, the rest actually does not look too bad.

Hate to answer my own question, but it's actually an SSPX chapel in Spain:

And the billowing yellow thing with the orb may be some reference to the Triumph of the Immaculate Heart:

    ?!?!?!?!!!!?

I don't see anything radiating from her right hand which covers her heart.

What I do see is her cloak (you can see bits of it on her left shoulder and near the left side of her waist) flowing from her right side and covering something (looks like people's faces).  Maybe it's supposed to represent people being protected under her mantle.

As for the silver disk...is that a shield?  again depicting her protection?  If so I'd have expected a cross or some symbol on it.
