You seem like a man intent on finding ONLY external reasons for your problems, when a blind man can tell that you have at least SOME fault in what's going on. If you're looking for someone to enable your B.S., I'm not your guy.

As far as Peterson, I'm not into hero worship or blindly following ANYONE, but he's earned my respect. So far, you've earned disdain. I mean good grief man, you can't even get along with your own wife. Why should anyone be interested in your opinion on anything?

So though your advice might work, he can't do anything until later. He will probably lose the child to a foreign country if he is not patient.  While he is practicing patience, he can docuмent everything.

I am not sure how saying no to her would go down right now  because she has all the cards living in her country.

And to be clear, I agree that the husband of the family has the responsibility to lead his family properly.

The reason I ask for the good side of the wife is because I believe that he can use it as a tool to help calm their situation down.  I really get tired of single men trying to give advice for the married state.  Theory is useful, but sometimes you have to adjust for real life scenarios.

That is horrible advice. Temporarily separating is what the wife would like to see every time we argue. She heard about some other woman who had a drunkard husband. Basically the woman kicked her drunk husband out and until he cleaned up his act, then he could come back. First off, I'm not a drunk.  I'm not abusive. Secondly, the woman has no authority to kick out the man. Men do not submit to women. Third, kicking a husband out merely because he doesn't agree to wash his hands or submit to his wife's every demand is ludicrous. And besides all that, the next step from separation is divorce. Does any God fearing Catholic man with children really want to go in that direction? No. I should have posted in the male only subforum, but probably wouldn't make a difference due to satan's agents all over this forum posing as traditional Catholics.

Wow, this whole thing has been blown way out of proportion. I mean, what's a little meat on the floor between spouses? Nothing.
