What Is Narcissism?

Would you call it narcissism when someone is impeding on your right to live, but is faceciously polite about it? Would you call that narcissism? Or would you call it when you see someone who holds himself up to a higher standard no matter what it be, and makes a point to be impolite about it? Note, the latter example is not harming you directly in any way. Would you rather invite a cretin into your home, who is horrible in action, but sweet, kind in words, or a man who is honorable in action, but horrible in words? And which one would more accurately describe narcissism? Thank you.
