SSPX Defections - summer 2026

Any news of priests leaving the SSPX this summer due to the episcopal consecrations, post here. Would be interesting to see if any go to FSSP/ICK/diocesan, etc. I heard one in Germany left, but unsure of who. No one left locally here that I know of (Ontario, Canada).

I heard 4 NO priests, 29 NO bishops, 8 priests from CMRI, 4 priests from ICK and 19 FSSP priests left and are joining the SSPX! Don't quote me here, not sure if it's true or not, don't have confirmations and have no way to confirm. Check news.

I heard that number is already up to 42 and that all will be conditionally consecrated and all the priests will be conditionally ordained. SSPX will be using an assembly line of bishops.
