    • I know that medicine doesn't break the fast, but I still have a concern.

    I recently got a tongue tie release and as part of my stretches I need to do I need to use coconut oil (more like a butter than a liquid) on the lesion. It's only a small amount but would this constitute breaking the fast?

    • No.  It’s for medicinal purposes, not because you’re eating or drinking coconut oil for nourishment.  If you overdo it, you’re in for an unpleasant surprise.
