  • Makers versus (entitlement) Takers..

A guy on Cavuto today (Stuart Varney hosting instead of Cavuto), who runs a small business used the terms “makers and takers,” the latter referring to  those on govt assistance. He seems  to think of the “takers” as total leeches who  contribute nothing beneficial to society.

Really? They don't contribute anything? Well, I suppose you could find some who do not seem to contribute much, who really do (seem to) abuse the system for their own selfish “gain,” although I don't see where there is much to gain in gov dependency (per se)...  So I don't argue that SOME intentionally abuse the system. In fact, I think all govt programs should be cut to one extent or another.

In any case,  we cannot  forget that:

SOME Congresspersons also abuse the system. They are often takers also, and even worse than the welfare-abusers because they not only do nothing good for our country, they actually do harm... They stay in Congress year after year TAKING a check from you the People just so they can be someone important (and have even worse motives than that)

But how about this: I know someone who gets govt assistance (though not food stamps...) who believe it or not, worked for the Trump campaign. And  that person not only worked to get Trump (and Co) elected, but worked HARD at it, worked at it every single day until he (they) were elected, contacted probably tens of thousands of people (the person is pro-life, for one thing...)

So, believe it or not: There are people in this “taker” column who are not just sitting back being couch potatoes, watching TV all day.. doing nothing for others or for country.

But what if many of them were?

Hypothetical: Even if a person did not work on the T campaign... never politically involved...   even if  the person “on entitlements” is not doing much of anything... that anyone knows about    (key words there)..

there is an important point I am trying to make:  That people are always  PRESUMING... Humans tend to judge and condemn without knowing much of anything. If  people are  “only” babysitting for their children, that is contributing b/c then the person helped can spend money on things other than childcare... and I could give example after example of how people on assistance help society, even there is no conscious intent to do so.

“By what measure you mete, so shall it be meted unto you” Jesus said

Maybe you rich people worked harder than many others at your JOB  yet neglected key components of what Jesus requires (in His Commandments).. meaning: there were certain “spiritual” works/deeds your conscience tried to tell you to “work on” but you refused? In that way, you did not “work” whereas someone on gov assistance may have done those deeds you neglected

People who have money.. Do they ever step one foot in “the ghetto” --or anywhere where there are a lot of poor people? Ha ha... what  a joke. They wouldn't want to get their Gucci shoes “dirty.”

(Does Gucci make shoes? I don't know... I've never been rich.)

Why do people always yammer on about things they know NOTHING about? Is it just human nature or are these people  deliberately deceptive when  they do this... aka: evil

You want to know about people who are poor? Go to where poor people live!  Gee, what a thought!

Better yet: live with said poor people for a week or 2 (at least) before you open your big,  arrogant, ignorant mouth to condemn them as leeches, and leeches only.

Then you may want to repeat that experience in 2 yrs or so, lest you  forget..

Whether rich or poor, lazy or productive.. all humans are created in the image of God. We really are all equal in the eyes of God, though few really believe that... believe as in: walk the talk believe.. The rich are no better than the poor, and in fact, some poor people are far more moral, ethical and law-abiding than many of the rich... (think: Hillary Clinton... national security.. espionage statutes violated..  San Quentin worthy)

I wish people would quit saying or even  implying that some people are worthless. You are sinning egregiously when you do that.

And besides all that (and this may be the most important, albeit also most neglected aspect of the problem):

It is in huge part the government's fault that abuse is taking place.. since  they make it so easy to become dependent on government

  • it is so nαzι to label some people or imply that some people are worthless to society

there sure are a lot of nαzιs around. I've read stories of people who were really good at something... writing.. athletics.. and then lost all ability to do what they love..

went from worthy to worthless in the time it takes to have a serious accident
