Children who pass away

I think that children who end up dying without baptism and end up in limbo would've met a worse fate had they died as adults. What are your thoughts on children who die after baptism (Or even before)? Do you think that God sees something unique about their soul that he takes them (the baptized children) while leaving us to go through life or do you think that they very well may have lost their souls had they grown up but He bestows this great gift on them anyway? I have a sister who died before me after her baptism, and I often think about her life and my own.

God may have numerous reasons for taking a child.  I've always thought it was to lead someone, maybe a family member on the straight and narrow so they'd be together someday.  
It may have been to save someone else.

There are many reasons. 

My older sister died in infancy after baptism, and I credit my conversion to the true Faith partly to her intercession. I am the only one in my family with the true Faith and good morals. I sometimes wonder if she would have lost her soul if God allowed her to live. 

I recall reading that God out of mercy sometimes takes infants after baptism in order to prevent them from losing their souls, having foreseen they would have gone to hell if they lived.

I posted in anonymous because I didn't see the option to show up on my screen in the general posts area. I was just musing about it. Is their any saints who gave their opinion about it? I just wonder if it just comes down to the circuмstances of their life resulting in an early death and that's really just it or whether their is something unique that God sees in them, as in they had a predisposition to be great somehow. Like how some of us are by DNA more handsome, tall, talented, charming, etc, or we have it in us to be that even if we die early. Is there something about them? I don't know how to describe it. I guess it's a why them in particular vs another soul question, I realize there might not be an answer, just wondering what others think.
