Can one vote for a woman president?

I heard someone on Twitter say:

"It’s a mortal sin for a Catholic to cast a vote for a female politician."

What do you do when both candidates are women, i.e., Mexico? The polls down there next year all but ensure that the next president is either a Jєωιѕн woman or an indigenous woman. Both are heavily compromised on key issues.

Not desirable in my opinion, but I can't see how it would be, in itself, a mortal sin (or even venial for that matter) to vote for a woman.

I don't believe in democracy. But I don't see why voting for a woman is a sin. I also don't believe that a woman cannot be a good ruler. I can mention "Isabella the Catholic", or "Isabel la Católica" in spanish, queen of Castile, as an example of a good female ruler, if you are Mexican you should know who she is.

The problem in my opinion is masonic liberal democracy. But, if I'm not mistaken, voting is not a sin, even if this "democracy" is rubbish.

I've been aware of criminality in voting for decades, but continue to vote because hope is a supernatural virtue and not voting is giving in to despair.

The Bible says women should not preach in churches, and says nothing about women voting. 

Of course we can vote for a woman. God chose St. Joan de Arc for a reason.
