Most Catholic calendars don't mention this fact.
(Nor do any Protestant calendars, which only mention Valentines
day -- without the apostrophe; and St. Patrick's Day with
Perhaps they omit the apostrophe because there are many Valentines
exchanged that day? Who knows?
In any event, Saint Valentine was Catholic and Feb. 14th is really his Feast Day: St. Valentine's Day.
.Therefore, the topic of this thread is indistinguishable from President Trump being the instrument through which the world is given a miracle by the intercession of St. Adam and St. Eve, our protoparents.
In one sense, this commemorates the 10 Commandments, of which the Fourth is, "Thou Shalt Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother."
Of course, again the Protestants are out of line on this, because they think the command to honor one's parents is the FIFTH commandment
and the 4th is "keep holy the Lord's Day."
That's because they presume to split the First Commandment into two, so as to promote the abominable iconoclasm of the despicable Calvinists, and to combine the 9th and 10th into one so as to relegate women to the status of farm animals and material possessions.
