According to the Russian Ministry of Defense the Syrian air defense shot down a considerable part of the missiles.
Evgeny Nippot knows what equipment the country has for the air defense.
That is a salvage of the Tomahawk missile shot down by the Syrian air defense. The Syrian authorities tried to maintain the operability of the air defense systems, despite the exhausting conflict in the country.
Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the Natsionalnaya Oborona magazine: "The Syrian army was trained and equipped with the help of the Soviet Union. For the last several years, the Russian servicemen have been operating in Syria, and they helped the Syrians to plan and conduct ground operations against the terrorists and militants. It's clear that today Syria has only two military allies, which are Russia and Iran."
The base of the Syrian air shed is made up of the Soviet equipment, mainly the S-75, S-125 and S-200 complexes.
Victor Murakhovsky, editor-in-chief of the Arsenal Otechestva magazine: "Moreover, Russia has supplied Buk M2E mid-range air-defense complexes but this is about an insignificant quantity, about 1 or 2 battalions. Pantsir S air defense systems were also supplied, about 40 units. Apparently, 8 batteries with 4 units in each are defending mostly facilities in Damascus, and 2 batteries with 8 units each are used for training the air-defense specialists."
Experts say local military are trained by the instructors from Russia and Iran. The new equipment helped to enhance the potential of the Syrian air-defense. Thus, the Buk is capable of hitting targets at the height of about 20 kilometers, the effective range is more than 30, the complex can detect 24 targets at once. And the Pantsir is carrying 12 missiles. Moreover, it carries about 1,500 rounds which can hit targets at a range of 20 kilometers.
Victor Murakhovsky: "The most protected are: Damascus, government facilities such as the Ministry of Defense, the general staff, communication complexes, and some facilities near Damascus, such as the government airfield, And among the most protected are the objects near the Golan Heights, at the border with Israel, because the Syrian air-defense has been developed to resist the strikes from Israel."
Meanwhile, the Syrian authorities claim that due to the actions of the military, the missiles failed to reach all its targets on the territory of Syria. And the Ministry of Information has addressed the citizens, urging them "not to believe the enemy TV-channels, who intentionally exaggerate the scale of the attack."

The French president is to be αssαssιnαtҽd after France's involvement in a foreign war, which we might deduce goes badly for France.
We're told the people will rise up and kill their leader. This coincides with a massive economic downturn and very bad weather.
Bad weather. Gee like the hurricane in Houston last year. Like the winter that produces 4 to 5oC lower temperatures than normal in April in the Midwest which delays planting for weeks. A winter that smashes snow records throughout the Midwest which date from the Centennial Minimum (1880 - 1930). Weather that will only intensify out to 2021 due to low or zero sunspots. Ya that weather.
Erich Honecker and Mikhail Gorbachev at the GDR's 40th Anniversary Celebration (October 7, 1989)
Undeterred by the emigration wave (http://www.germanhistorydocs.ghi-dc.org/sub_docuмent.cfm?docuмent_id=2876&language=english) and by regular demonstrations for reform and freedom of speech, the SED leadership celebrated the 40th anniversary of the founding of the GDR (http://www.germanhistorydocs.ghi-dc.org/sub_image.cfm?image_id=1024&language=english) on October 6 and 7, 1989. During the official celebrations, Soviet head of state and party leader Mikhail Gorbachev warned that danger awaited those “who do not react to life.” Honecker ignored these warnings, however, just as he ignored Ministry for State Security reports on the growing number of resignations among party members and dwindling loyalty to the GDR. Yet the events of the following days would make clear that the decline of the German Democratic Republic could no longer be denied. This photo shows Erich Honecker (right) and Mikhail Gorbachev (who is glancing at his watch) on the VIP-grandstand during the military parade. Raisa Gorbacheva can be seen in the background at the right. Photo: Sven Simon.

While the number of Salafists in Germany reaches a record high (http://www.dw.com/en/number-of-salafists-in-germany-has-doubled-in-past-five-years/a-43243111) and machete-wielding gangs riot (https://legalιnѕυrrєcтισn.com/2018/04/with-middle-eastern-gangs-rioting-in-german-streets-berlin-concerned-by-situation-in-gaza/) on the country's streets, the establishment media not only covers up the fallout from Chancellor Angela Merkel's open door migration policy, but continues to paint a false picture of the country's current state.
"What the refugees bring to us is more valuable than gold," said (http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/interview-with-german-chancellor-candidate-martin-schulz-a-1133475.html) Martin Schulz, Merkel's main political rival and the leader of Germany's Social Democrats (SPD).
"Many [migrants] are in integration courses or waiting to get in them. So I think we will need to show some patience," Merkel said (https://www.reuters.com/article/us-europe-migrants-germany-companies/merkel-wants-germany-to-get-refugees-into-workforce-faster-idUSKCN11L06R) in September 2016.
Unfortunately, these claims and assurances now seem like nothing more than liberal pipe-dreams to push through a pro-immigration policy in Germany.
Instead of lining up to join the German workforce, as the political elite and most of the media were asking us to believe, these young immigrant men, in the hundreds of thousands, took refuge in the Germany's generous welfare system.
"More than half of the able-bodied unemployment benefit receivers at present are of foreign descent," Der Spiegel reported (http://www.spiegel.de/wirtschaft/soziales/hartz-iv-haelfte-der-hartz-iv-empfaenger-hat-migrationshintergrund-a-1202179.html) on April 10, 2018. "According to latest numbers complied in September 2017, out of 4.3 million able-bodied welfare recipients, 55.2% were of an immigrant background. In 2013, that figure was 43%." (https://www.zerohedge.com/sites/default/files/inline-images/merkel.jpg?itok=BhsWCGNJ)
As of December 2017, an estimated 600,000 able-bodied asylum seekers in Germany were on the dole, the newspaper Die Welt revealed (https://www.welt.de/politik/deutschland/article171893045/Fluechtlinge-Kommunen-warnen-vor-Scheitern-der-Integration.html) in December, 2017. For the first time in post-war German history, the number of foreigners living on unemployment benefits has crossed the 2-million-mark (https://www.focus.de/finanzen/videos/zahlen-der-bundesagentur-fuer-arbeit-zwei-millionen-auslaender-beziehen-hartz-iv_id_7682217.html).
All this has happened, moreover, at time when poverty, especially among elderly pensioners, reached a historic high. Under Merkel's watch, nearly 20% of Germans are threatened by poverty, according to (http://www.dw.com/en/poverty-and-social-exclusion-millions-of-germans-on-brink/a-41301832) the German Federal Statistical Office. The current level of poverty is "higher than ever since the unification of the Federal Republic and the [Communist] German Democratic Republic," the German public broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported (http://www.dw.com/en/poverty-and-social-exclusion-millions-of-germans-on-brink/a-41301832).
Contrary to what the establishment media would have people believe, there is no evidence that the hundreds of thousands of young migrant men pouring into Germany are going to relieve the country's aging work force or become productive citizens in other ways.
While media outlets such as The Economist are busy touting Merkel's Germany as "model for the West" for its newly-acquired "diversity," the country is sinking ever deeper into a social, economic and demographic bog. With their collective heads buried in sand, many in the establishment and the media seem to want the rest of the Western world to follow Germany's example by opening their borders to unregulated mass immigration. Sadly, the current result of Germany's open-door policy indicates that all those rosy reports seem to have been nothing more than an elaborate campaign of deceit or misinformation.
America's twin public-health crises of homelessness and drug dependency have been put on grotesque display in a corridor of the Civic Center BART station in San Francisco - one of the busiest stations in the Bay Area.
In a shocking report by CBS San Francisco Bay Area (http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2018/04/25/drug-users-san-francisco-civic-center-bart/), the station docuмents a group of junkies and drug addicts who congregate in a hallway in the terminal early in the morning, where they openly inject and smoke drugs. In the videos, junkies can be seen injecting drugs into veins near their knuckles or nodding out amid piles of vomit and other bodily fluids.
BART police say they're too overwhelmed to put a stop to the daily congregations, and that they might need to enlist the help of San Francisco police to stop drug users from setting up what's essentially a roving shooting gallery in the passageways of the station. Some stations, CBS reports (http://sanfrancisco.cbslocal.com/2018/04/25/drug-users-san-francisco-civic-center-bart/), are often left completely unguarded.
