The article is too long for me to read at present, but I noticed his "alternative" is the so-called battle against "poverty, HIV, illiteracy, etc."

This shows that he has been completely brainwashed, too, as the commies are the ones who advocate such bunk. HIV is MAN-MADE! The poverty bit always seems to involve the involuntary "redistribution" of wealth. The US - as a Nation, with taxpayer money - has NO BUSINESS trying to "eradicate" world poverty. As for "education", it is mere brainwashing on a monumental scale - and it is clearly working, as we can see by this man's words.

Though he mentioned those things, that does NOT mean that his research is in error, or that the facts he presented are flawed.

You have to realize that most people assume that fighting illiteracy, poverty, etc. are "good things to spend resources on" and he's just spewing the party line there. But there is a lot of truth to what he is saying! It WOULD be better to do just about ANYTHING compared to blowing up Depleted Uranium munitions while killing Iraqi civilians. I think that is his point.

Anyhow, everything he said about China/Russia is true, and I've heard it from other sources than him (including many retired US Generals)

Agreed.

It does, however, grow old reading "conservatives" who espouse the commie agenda without even realizing it.
