  • The latest from the Inquisitors podcast --

The Inquisitors discuss the current war in Venezuela, specifically the TRUE reason for this military action. Silver, China, oil, military alliances -- it's a lot more complicated than fighting narcotics gangs.

  • The narco gangs are involved all of the above, that’s why they are always mentioned.  I agree, it’s way more than drugs.

Venezuela: The $60B+ Bitcoin "Shadow Reserve"
    Quote
Markets focus on the $17T+ in Oil that Venezuela owns.
    Quote
But what they don't know is that Venezuela one of the largest active $BTC holders in the world.
    Quote
Similar in scale to both $MSTR and Blackrock.
    Quote
Here's how this impacts markets and prices:
    Quote
Intelligence reports indicate that the Venezuelan regime accuмulated a "shadow reserve" of Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT) estimated at more than $60 billion. (HUMINT)
    Quote
his hoard was built through "gold swaps" and the requirement that oil exports be settled in USDT to evade sanctions.
    Quote
Intelligence cited by Whale Hunting (authored by Bradley Hope and Clara Preve) indicates that the accuмulation began in 2018, coinciding with the aggressive liquidation of the Orinoco Mining Arc’s gold reserves.
    Quote
    - The regime likely converted ~$2B of gold proceeds into Bitcoin at an average price of $5K, which would have been around 400,000 BTC. At Jan 2026 price of ~$90K, that specific tranche alone would be worth $36B.
    Quote
As the "Petro" experiment failed, the regime pivoted to using Tether (USDT) as a proxy for the petrodollar during cruide oil sales. However, Venezuela began to "Wash" that into Bitcoin, recognizing that USDT retains the ability to freeze addresses.
    Quote
Given market intelligence, we can estimate that Venezuela has roughly:
    Quote
Gold Swaps: 2018–2020, Gold Bars, Value Now: ~$45B - $50B
    Quote
    Petro-Crypto: 2023–2025, Crude Oil, Value Now: ~$10B - $15B
    Quote
    Mining Seizures: 2023–2024, ~$500M
    Quote
Giving a grand total between 2018–2026: ~$56B - $67B in Bitcoin, implied at 660K+ Bitcoin, with a floor at 600K in Bitcoin.
    Quote
That does not mean US has full control of the Bitcoin yet. The days following today will be defined by a high-stakes interrogation to secure the Bitcoin.
    Quote
The U.S. will likely offer plea deals, reduced sentencing, or protection for family members in exchange for the surrender of seed phrases. Given the severity of the narco-terrorism charges, the leverage is there.
    Quote
So now the revelation of the $60 billion hoard fundamentally alters the supply/demand dynamics of the Bitcoin market for 2026, as the Venezuelan reserve is estimated at: 600,000+ BTC.
    Quote
This is 12 times larger than the German sale and 2 times larger than the U.S. government’s entire pre-raid stockpile.
    Quote
In 2024, the German state of Saxony liquidated ~50,000 BTC ($3 billion). This 50K BTC sale caused a 15-20% market correction and weeks of bearish sentiment.
    Quote
    Now compare that to 600,000.
    Quote
Here's the leading entity holders of Bitcoin:
    Quote
    1. Satoshi Nakamoto ~1,100,000
    Quote
    2. BlackRock (IBIT) ~770,791.5
    Quote
    3. MicroStrategy ~672,497
    Quote
    4. Venezuela (Seized) ~600,000
    Quote
    5. U.S. Gov ~325,293
    Quote
    6. Mt. Gox Trustee ~140,000
    Quote
Now, here's what will likely happen from here:
    Quote
    The "Frozen Asset" (High Probability):
    Quote
The assets are seized but immediately entangled in complex litigation Creditors file injunctions; the DOJ claims forfeiture. The keys are held in escrow by the U.S. Treasury, but the coins cannot move.
    Quote
Short-term volatility due to uncertainty, followed by a bullish "supply shock" narrative.
    Quote
Short-term volatility due to uncertainty, followed by a bullish "supply shock" narrative. The market realizes that 600,000 BTC (3% of circulating supply) have been effectively removed from the market for 5-10 years. This acts as a massive "lock-up," reducing liquid supply and supporting higher prices.
    Quote
The "Strategic Reserve" Pivot (High Probability):
    Quote
Influenced by the "Strategic Bitcoin Reserve" movement, President Trump orders the Treasury to hold the Bitcoin as a permanent U.S. asset.
    Quote
This too acts as a massive lock up, reducing liquid supply and supporting higher prices.
    Quote
The "Fire Sale" (Very Low Probability):
    Quote
The U.S. DOJ declares the assets "perishable/volatile" and executes an immediate liquidation via Coinbase Prime or USMS auctions to fund the occupation costs.
    Quote
However, this is unlikely due to Trump's positive stance toward Bitcoin "Reserves" from confiscating assets.
    Quote
    _Results:
    Quote
Markets have been looking at the massive oil reserve and beneficiaries, while ignoring the elephant in the room: Bitcoin.
    Quote
The "second order effect" is likely a massive supply lock-up.
    Quote
If the U.S. seizes these assets, they will likely move from "active liquid reserves" of a rogue state to "frozen sovereign assets" of the U.S. Treasury, reducing available supply and potentially acting as a catalyst for higher prices in Q1 2026.
    Quote
There will likely be increased volatility. But for market participants shorting Bitcoin because of fears of "conflict", this event is generally seen as bullish for $MSTR and Bitcoin holders as this effectively locks up supply for many years to come.

  • Good info.  So this all goes back to oil.  Venezuela was selling oil to Russia/China and didn't want to get paid in dollars, so they got paid in bitcoin.  This is a BRICS vs US dollar economic war.  And also, you don't want China to have a permanent presence in the region.

Hmmm- we certainly don't want China in South America but I guess Trump's opening to 600,000 Chinese student university slots in the US and subsequent H1B visas is A-OK!

Wow! How did we miss this "elephant in the room"?

One question: If the US obtains the wallet seed phrases, is the BTC unable to move prima facie?
Or does the analyst presume that some twerpy district hooknose judge will freeze the BTC?

Another question: How do we know that only Maduro knows the seed phrases? Wouldn't a prudent man trust the phrases/wallets to another person? If so, wouldn't the BTC already be moving through darknet BTC mixers?

Whistleblower testimonies blow the lid off of the entire SMARTMATIC & DOMINION election rigging operation in the U.S. and around the world.

The "Bolivarian Project," Chavez’s stated goal was to use the SMARTMATIC software to install allied presidents throughout Latin America and eventually "place a president in the United States as well."

Chavez ordered the voting machines to be manufactured in designated Chinese factories.

Chavez mentioned Iran & Serbia who could provide technical support for vote transmission operations if problems arose.

Smartmatic bought a company called Sequoia, which was related to U.S. elections, but later resold it. Whistleblowers also stated Smartmatic has "direct relations with Dominion."

Chavez frequently mentioned having "very good friends in the Congress of the United States Democrats," specifically referring to congressmen and senators who would visit Venezuela.

This is just one of the layers to the entire big picture of election theft in the U.S., and around the world, which also has involvement of nefarious factions in our own CIA, and other agencies and government officials.

Another giant piece to the puzzle are 3rd party companies like RUNBECK, who print, count, deliver, process, and collude with Dominion so their ballots are able to be read by Dominion.

Further detailed info from this video can be found in the post below on my timeline.

    I agree with A/C's assessment:

    Quote

There is no doubt that Dominion and Smartmatic were key to the election rigging scheme, and given they arose in Venezuela, Chavez was in the area. But the idea Chavez could pull this off as the primary actor, and he tooled, both CIA, and the intelligence conspiracy which has compromised it, and the media ran cover for Russia and China, (as they obviously did even as MAGA said the elections were rigged) is laughable. Something very powerful, which controlled our news media, used Maduro as a cutout, and now they are trying to tie him to the same silly enemies they have tried to force feed us for a decade, and leave him holding the bag, and they are using the influencer network we have been watching all these years to do it. Notice also, it is China, it is Russia, and even we knew the elections were being rigged, but CIA and Israel and NSA and DIA were all powerless to stop it. My guess would be we are getting close to an Israeli conspiracy. …

And when you think about gunfights, something is off about it all. Maduro’s guards should have been somewhat professional. They should have set up the compound where he was held with all sorts of cover, and fatal funnels, and at least one Delta guy should have been taken out.

Being an assaulter is hard. I do not care how good a shot you are, or how fast you are, or how smoothly you take a corner or cut slices of pie, or that somebody built you a mockup to practice in. If the defender is behind 1″ hardened steel plate he installed beforehand, and all of him that shows is a 1/2″ sliver around his eye, to sight down his barrel, and he has had time to line hallways with claymores, and there are thirty others just like him, I do not care how fast your guys can take a corner and put lead within a 1″ circle. Hitting them and not losing anybody would take an act of God.

  • I don't know who Chavez's boss was, but I know his ethnicity, that's for sure.

Plus, I agree. Even the weakest country in the world would have some military able to shoot some bullets when a foreign power invades their country and kidnaps their president. It seems obvious to me that Maduro negociated his imprisonment. He even took his beloved wife with him. Maybe he will even "die" a mysterious death some years ahead and spend the rest of his days on some tropical paradise spending the money that he will get on this deal.

  • Hello. I don't know about this. I just know that Maduro is very unpopular even among Venezuelans. Yesterday in Madrid have Venezuelans VS leftists in a demonstration. Venezuelans were from the anti-Maduro side and leftists were from the pro-Maduro side.

I know many Venezuelans, both in person and online, and not one of them has a positive view of Maduro. That's why there are a lot of Venezuelans outside of their country I guess.

But yes, you're probably right about Trump's motivations for overthrowing Maduro.
