Title: US Supreme Court halts business vaxx mandate, OK with death Jab for HCWs
Post by: Emile on January 13, 2022, 01:47:30 PM
The Supreme Court has stopped the Biden administration from enforcing a requirement that employees at large businesses be vaccinated against COVID-19 or undergo weekly testing and wear a mask on the job.

At the same time, the court is allowing the administration to proceed with a vaccine mandate for most health care workers in the U.S.
The court’s orders Thursday during a spike in coronavirus cases was a mixed bag for the administration’s efforts to boost the vaccination rate among Americans.
The court's conservative majority concluded the administration overstepped its authority by seeking to impose the vaccine-or-test rule on U.S. businesses with at least 100 employees. More than 80 million people would have been affected.

That's great news.

Stupid regarding allowing it for healthcare workers though (studies in the other thread show being vaxed makes you 2-6x more likely to catch COVID than if you were unvaxed, so effectively, they are inviting infection into the hospital setting).

They probably won't ever figure that out as it happens to healthcare workers disproportionately to other fields.

In point of fact, most healthcare are rescinding the mandates; they lost so many people that they recalled many of them and waived the jab requirements.

While this is not a bad thing, the ruling was incredibly weak.  All it said was that OSHA didn't have the ability to impose these requirements without "Congressional authorization".  That leaves the door open for Congress to authorize it.

It was a way for them to wiggle out of a real ruling by using a technicality.  What we really need is a declaration that jab mandates in general are unconstitutional.

Nothing happens without the permission of TPTB.  They're probably getting ready for the next phase of the Great Rest, either a worse pathogen or else a cyber-plandemic.

This isn't great news if anti-vaxx healthcare workers are hung out to dry.

I agree.  And even the OSHA ruling was incredibly weak, implying that it's just based on a technicality that Congress never authorized OSHA to do it.

Or they are treating it like they do the "mandatory" flu vaccines and allowing staff to waive it quite simply on grounds of religious belief or medical conditions. This is where my employer, which is a hospital, has stood for the past year. Their waiver for the covid jab is identical to that of the flu. And they're losing their minds right now trying to find staff. I don't think yet another thing, like requiring testing, is going to help them in that.

Not good news for medical staff.  Most Doctors do need to be jabbed.

Most of perverts and adulterers too.

And ironically, it's these medical people who know how much bs this covid crap is more than anyone.

but i'm sure that's the plan, shut them down.

I absolutely hate this govt.

Mind you, this hospital mandated the "vaccine". Phew, good thing they were protected!

With the healthcare mandate stamp of approval, next comes ..... "No vaxx?  No Medicare..... No Social Security.......for you!"

Yeah this isn't really a victory, it's a tacit approval. It's possible that we'll be okay but only with a parallel economy/system, there's absolutely no way going forward we can interact with the mainstream. Wouldn't be surprised if most/all of us are homeless in 10 years and we need to prepare for that reality.

Don't be all doom & gloom, Bodeens, be more optimistic!
In 10 years probably a lot of us will be dead. ;)

Complete incoherence regarding St. Paul  Vax Mandate in the wake of SCOTUS decision:

Employees will no longer be required to get Vaxed, BUT all customers must be Vaxed!

Well, you know, that’s following the science, because only customers, and not employees, can give people covid!

This was a temporary, emergency "halt" by SCOTUS, not a ruling.  The actual case/ruling is in the hands of the Federal district court (6th?).  Once they rule, then it will probably be appealed and then SCOTUS will hear the case.

lol! It's not even necessarily doom and gloom though...If we are living Joblike lives we'll be more thankful and loving of God. If we're simple nomads or something hopefully that will strip away all of the unnecessary stuff. We're going to be laughed (maybe... I think most people are going to be cooped up in cities and never see us!) at but there's always hope and growth in God whether you are in a camp or moving around with your family with a few goats and a cart. If I'm being frank I'm already prepping my family for this reality and trying to learn welding skills so I can build a small cart(s) that will carry the basics+be able to be pulled by a couple of Alpine goats or moderately large rams (sheep). I already have a filtration system and a catchment method + solar cooking figured out, my next thing is buying some goats and sheep and training them to pull. A lot of other people actually do this, so feeding my family off a small flock milkwise and occasionally slaughtering for meat seems totally doable. I'm planning my model on this guy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U54HRmglYEA
and I'll scale up from there to feed a family. It's going to be hard but I know God won't abandon me. We're going to lose our houses etc but as long as we don't lose the Faith we're golden and God is going to provide.

I probably seem insane but when Ferguson happened and I started looking for an off-grid house people thought I was crazy too.

Sounds perfectly sane to me.
The institutions of modern society have destroyed their own credibility with decades of lies; no one who has been paying any attention can trust Government at any level, the Legal system, Finance, Media, Medicine, Education, "Science", etc. There may be individuals within these institutions who are decent but, taken as a whole, they are thoroughly untrustworthy.  Immeasurably worse is what is currently occupying the Vatican.  I see little choice, for the foreseeable future, but for people to become as independent from "the system" as they are able.
I also agree with the spiritual aspect; it is ultimately better for each of us if we have to depend on God day by day instead of a man made material security.

A fascinating video. I learned a lot, though I wouldn't willingly want to live in a homemade covered wagon. Still, this guy is so resourceful, and smart. He's thought of just about everything that would be needed for a low-consumer life. He says that his sheep want to move around constantly, so he can't stay for more than 72 hours in one place, and that the rams love to work in pulling the wagon. I really like his solar cooker.

He wants to show the homeless that there's a better way to live, though I'm not sure that many of the homeless would be as disciplined or resourceful as him.

I wish you all the best in trying this type of life, Bodeens. Please let us know how it's working when you do it. If we do lose our homes, it would be a way to deal with it.

His series on things to buy before you never buy things again is fantastic, I truly hope he finds Christ because he has many great natural virtues (celibacy, resourcefulness, greatfulness, humility etc). I am thinking lifestyles like this won't necessarily be our choice but God's. We will form communities etc, we just need the humility to band together. One interesting aspect is his utter dependence on relationships with others. Someone could easily take advantage of him but he has a simple gun and otherwise no protection. He is just honest and works hard for others. There's a lot of important takeaways here and his lifestyle is definitely worth meditating on. His idea of preparing his community rather than himself is sublime.

Thanks Meg, I won't switch over to this unless I have to but if globalists put my family at gunpoint saying I can't live on my land God willed it and I will submit. I have to have the humility to protect my family and provide for them. When and if I have to make this switch I will post about it, especially on some of the finer details. Once I have money for a welder I'll make a few carts and go from there. Pray we all don't lose our homes lol.

100% agreed. I think with COVID God is telling us suffering is good. It's the hardest lesson but probably the most essential. I think of Little Li; Teresa of Avila commented on how "No wonder You have few friends", commenting on how Christ treats those He loves most.
