I thought this would be an appropriate thread to point out just what lengths the US government will go to to manipulate the media in order to deceive its public:

The main point is that they have operatives in foreign countries (actually entire media outlets, such as probably Aljazeera) not merely to give a favorable opinion of U.S. interests, but also to dominate the opposition so as to render it ineffective. As there are an infinity of ways to err, so it's nearly impossible to find someone who doesn't err!
