So evidently there was this guy named Gärtner who got it directly from Irlmaier, but one guy quotes Gärtner as saying Bucharest, and another as Budapest. I could easily see this just being due to something hand-written that was read incorrectly ..
Bu-a-est ... missing letters ch and r
Bu-a-est ... missing letters d and p
So if in some cursive script, someone could write a sloppy d and make it look like ch, and then a sloppy p that looks more like an r ... easily doable, I can see the reason for the discrepancy.
To me this suggets an hand-written note that was just read as Bucharest by one person and Budapest by another.
But the second guy, who says, he interviewed Gärtner directly, and says Budapest, also says that it would be some meeting held on "short notice".
Well, we have a meeting to be held on about two weeks' notice (per Trump), in Budapest, with friction between US/Russia leading up to it. I suspect that Irlmaier saw something about "short notice" because that will be said to figure in the (literal) post mortem analysis, namely that the security was inadequate due to not having had enough time to prepare. Secret Service typically go to even short coffee-shop stopovers weeks in advance to plan how to protect the President (my brother Steve was in SS for years, so he told me all about that).
AND, remember that Irlmaier says that right before this everybody's crying Peace! Shalom! (the Jєωιѕн word suggesting peace related to Israel), and we just came off Trump's big "eternal peace" deal between Israel and Palestine.
If there's any truth to Irlmaier at all, there's an extremely high liklihood that this is what's going to happen.
