OK, I'm sorry for being hostile.
I guess I have been having hope for too long.
I started being hopeful in 1965, thinking the
John Birch Society was going to put all the
communists in jail, but they took the 5th
amendment went free.
I thought the Young American for Freedom were
going to save America, also. Nope.
So after 54 years of watching America get more
evil and watching the decline of the middle class,
I guess I'm just tired of being hopeful.
Thank you. I lost two precious babies due to miscarriages. Thus, the topic of abortion is very upsetting to me.
My gynecologists and primary doctors refused to give me thyroid, which would have prevented these miscarriages.
In fact, I was not prescribed thyroid until after I reached menopause, and by then it was quite useless.
Thankfully, I was able to have one son, but I almost lost him, and had to beg the doctor to give me thyroid for the duration of my pregnancy.
Re: JBS
Not only did I join the John Birch Society in 1964 due to my California communist civics teacher whose rabid anti-Christian rantings in the classroom inspired me to become politically active, but also I personally met with the founder of the JBS, Mr. Robert Welch, in Massachusetts shortly before he died. Did you know that Robert Welch died a Catholic thanks to the devout Catholics who were part of the JBS? I left the JBS when they came under the influence of the Mormons, and thus lost their effectiveness.
We do make a difference, but we will not know all the good we have done until the Final Judgment when Christ separates the incorrigible goats from the faithful sheep who have preached Christ crucified by their good deeds, faithful prayers, and loving kindness.
So, please do not lose hope. Our prayers are much more effective than you can ever imagine. Even a smile can save someone in despair because Christ is within us.
