An earthquake in Australia occurred recently in the vicinity of the Pine Gap US base in the geographical center of the continent. A blog post by Zen Gardner  provides some details and offers speculative ideas on what could have caused a quake in what is usually a very geologically stable area.

I just “happened” on this information while researching something else, as is so often the case. The infamous Pine Gap black op military information gathering installation turns out to be nowhere else but in central Australia right near the location of the recent rogue Australian 5.7 quake that shook so many up.

As it happens I generally don't believe what is claimed regarding strength of quakes. The US geological survey frequently changes their estimations of quake magnitude as it becomes obvious that they under-estimate or over-estimate in their assessments. If the ground shakes, it's a proper quake!

This Amercian installation near the quake’s center is reported to have a 5 mile deep antenna going towards the earth’s core. Hmm. Earthquake depth: 10.7 km (6.6 miles). This is reminiscent of the quakes caused by fracking drills in the U.S. If the earth is activating and the core and plates are moving, this type of deep earth technology is going to contribute in some way, shape or form. You can count on it.

Pine Gap is indeed a very special place. I found an interesting article on the Biblioteca Pleyades with lots of info on the purposes of Pine Gap. It is said to be an underground city. It is known as a major HAARP facility. There are witness reports of UFO’s coming out of the mountains. There are too many rumors to sum up. Years afterwards, while researching on the internet, I discovered that many people believe that staff at the Gap are routinely brainwashed, presumably for security reasons.

So that was a decision I’ve never had any cause to regret.

There have been people over the years who have focused their attention on this part of the world on the Internet but many of them have disappeared.

We haven't heard much of this quake because, as it is my understanding, it was in a pretty remote part of Australia.  

Yes, but Pine Gap has been described as being an underground city with thousands of US nationals living there.
