Just for the heck of it, perhaps CI readers might like to know what a very intelligent friend of mine had to say about 9-11 in general and Building #7 in particular.
He told me that the scope of destruction caused by these two (twin) towers collapsing was on such a scale that he was surprised that half of Manhattan didn't collapse as well, and that over 40 buildings were severely damaged nearby. Consequently, he thought that it is no surprise to him that another steel framed high rise could have collapsed.
To summarize, he believes that if Building #7 came down on its own footprint, its cause is entirely explainable by the earlier collapse of the twin towers (World Trade #1 and #2). I have to say "if #7 came down" because he attempted to deny that Building #7 ever existed in the first place.
Like I said, he is curiously intelligent, but his thinking fails catastrophically at the most fundamental level, when he claims that we cannot believe what our senses tell us about our surroundings.
In a surprisingly strange manner, we can see this happening in the xSPX these days when they say that "Internet rumours" are the source of unbelievable anxieties among the faithful.
