Are there any other sources? The implications of a Russian attack on a US submarine are giant. No one will know what the VP had to return to Washington for until he says so, but a potential war-escalating event should have more than Hal Turner reporting blindly.

The sub was coming from Severomorsk, which is in the Barents Sea. Very far from Alaska.
I still have my doubts because a country deliberately attacking another's submarine is grounds for a military escalation, and we cannot go into more war.

Those that can remember the Arab-Israeli War of 1967 in which I do, there was no reports in the American Press
of the Israeli attack on the Intelligence ship USS Liberty, and causing many deaths and injuries. The surviving
crew were warned by the US Government not to talk about the events under the pain of federal prison.
It was not until the advent of the internet in the 1990's that we came to know what happened in 1967.
Some of the facts of the recent events about a Russian submersible and the a fire and deaths are
factually true. The lost US Submarine cannot be proven at this time.
Many do not know that since the Cuban Missile Crises of 1962 there are at lease three times that the them
Soviet Union almost came to a nuclear war with the US. There has been other confrontations that were kept

Perhaps both the US and the Russian Government put out a narrative to cool things off and they did not want
to go to war at this time, because if proven that a US Submarine torpedoed and sunk. It is not worth to kill 90%
