Wouldn't such an elite transport be extra safe?

They were attending a commemoration of a heinous action by the Russians during World War II -- wherein several Polish officials were killed.

Coincidence? Hmmm.

I'm a bit suspicious.

It's not too difficult for a Secret Service to mess with a plane's GPS so it's off by a few hundred meters, so instead of touching down on the landing strip they touch down in a nearby bunch of trees...

I'm not saying that's what definitely happened, but it's certainly possible for advanced countries to do such things. Anyone who says otherwise is naive about the capabilities of 3-letter organizations.

The stories about how this happened don't add up.

Whether it was a deliberate sabotage or an accident, it is an incredibly serious matter for so many VIPs to die at once trying to land in Russia. It is said the pilot tried 4 times to land. It does not make sense, but if it was an accident of fog, God allowed a huge smite of Poland.

I remember Poland eschewed same-sex marraige, and had gotten herself out of debt. Poland's Governor of Banking died also.

It IS an international incident-God only knows what it means,though.

Poland starting to drift into a new superpower's clutches, that of the USA-were are very chummy and teh Knights of Columbus, bypassing Spain and other countries, went there a few yrs ago, though Poland had nothing to do with Columbus and discovery....why? because several top K of C leaders are tied with Neocons and their many front groups....

I blame Russia less, as they feel threatened and encirlces-look how many USA bases and NATO bases spreading into former Warsaw Pact nations, plus the push for theose nations to join the EU...plus USA missle shields, satellites,etc.....yet we tell Russia we are their friends, then do this and back Georgia (recall, how there were mercs in Georgian conflict and heavy Mossad prescense.) Russia is no dummy, they know who bankrolls the NWO, NATO and Mossad---yup, the USA.....why then would they believe us saying "hey, w are your friends"...and turning Russian wwealth over to the few, mostly Jєωιѕн, oligarchs.who did it? yup the neocons from USA......

Poland's elite all on one palne, then said plane goind down, not liekly an "accident", someone is not playing nice....doubtful Russia did it, as it looks much to obvious over their soil, likely an opponent of Russia doing it on Russian airspace/soil to make Russia look bad.......

and no, I am no fan of Russia, largely ruled by the same people that ruled prior to 1991.....but the "blame Russia for everything" party is not logical....I blame the Neocon dupes like Chris Ferrera, who has turned Fr. That is why he backed Palin/McCain likely.

The warning at Fatima about Russia was largely against athiestic materialism and militarism, again, speed up now by USA/British Neocons......

There is no Instrument Landing System at the airport in question. The minimum visibility suggested for landing there is 1000m. The visibility at the time of the attempted landing was about 400m. It was suggested that they divert. But the decision to land came from inside the plane; I suspect from the highest ranking person on board - the president.

I've heard that this president did not appreciate pilots who made smart decisions and diverted, making him, the president, ride in long motorcades to his destination. That might explain why the pilot on this flight was rather inexperienced. He had only about 1400 hrs in the air. So, he was not likely very experienced in flying the sort of approach they were attempting here.
