Among so-called conservatives (what an utterly useless and cynical banner to claim) there's talk of a nationwide 15-week ban. The fact that it would never pass Congress is one thing. More significant is that approximately 98% of all abortions already occur before that cutoff date. They rant about the horror of nearly full-term infanticide but gloss over the fact that 15 weeks is pretty far along in gestation already. [To be clear: Plan B pills and IUDs and oral contraceptives are all infanticide too.]
