So, here's another one from Nostradamus:
Century 10 Quatrain 49
Garden of the world near the new city,
In the path of the hollow mountains:
It will be seized and plunged into the Vat,
Drinking by force the waters poisoned by sulfur.
Again, we have "the new city", and then "in the path of the hollow mountains". Now, hollow mountains would be an apt description of modern skyscrapers, would they not? That reminds me of when Irlmaier described something that people stared at which looked like these colorful cigarette boxes ... aka described cellphones that he did not otherwise understand. What else would qualify as a "hollow mountain" to the eyes of a Nostradamus than these skyscrapers?
And, the Hudson river travels between skyscrapers on either side, so the river itself could be that path of the hollow mountains, and they Parade of Tall ships traveling down the Hudson among the skycrapers definitely fits this imagery.

Parade of Tall Ships down Hudson in 2012:

Then, it will be seized and plunged into a vat ... which invokes the imagery of something burning going into a cauldron, which in turn causes the water to bubble over. Now, while nuclear weapons themselves to not cause sulfur, the massive conflagration and burning of buildings and other things will in fact create massive amounts of sulfur, and of course, if the even happens in the water, i.e. the Hudson River, that watery path between the hollow mountains ... evidently over 100,000 peopel in the New York aread do in fact get their drinking water directly from the Hudson River, as per an AI question:
More than 107,000 people get their drinking water from the Hudson River. This resource serves homes, businesses, hospitals, and schools across Dutchess and Ulster Counties in the mid-Hudson Valley.
In addition to that, a lot of other water sources could be poisoned ... and nearly the entire State of New York rely on watersheds, various forms of runoff from surface water, which of course would easily get poisoned by sulfur in the atmosphere.
Finally, what is this "garden of the world" near the "New City"?
Well ... we're back to the UN building again, which has a garden over which hang flags of the world.

So now we come full circle to the wide building facing the sea behind which the nukes will blow up, and of course this garden here is in fact behind the building if it's being viewed from the river.

But what's this about it being NEAR the new city? Isn't the UN building IN New York City?
Actually ... no, since the grounds of the UN building are considered "international territory", and so describing it as NEAR the new city is actually correct, and the fact that it's a kind of "osasis" amid New York also resonates with the notion of a garden.
