Russia's looking a lot better than Europe and America are right now. New churches are being built, people are turning back to Christianity (albeit schismatic, for now), they don't tolerate sodomite propaganda and they seem to be moving toward banning abortion. Meanwhile the west is moving in the opposite direction. It looks to me like the groundwork is being laid in Russia for her eventual conversion to Catholicism.
The big problem with Russian Orthodox Monarchism is that the Russian Orthodox Church sees itself as subservient to the state, and completely ruled by it, not just working with it. They didn't even have a patriarch before 1917 because Tsar Peter I had abolished it and set himself up as head of the 'Holy Synod', which ruled the church until the revolution.
