Ok, Nadir; I just watched the 1st video.  That is completely terrifying.  Especially if you watch it with the context in mind of the Chastisement.  What a great way to start my morning!

Thank you for posting those--truly amazing how the hand of God can punish.

Given the time line of the first video, the people had warning and time to evacuate the city but clearly that didn't happen and by the time the danger was fully realized it was far too late. Kind of like our lives. God gives us warning that our end will come, and time to save ourselves, but many simply don't heed the warnings until it's too late. Tragic stuff.

After we watched the first video, my husband said there must be a special reason that God chose Pompei to give this lesson to mankind. The title of the second caught my eye and got me in. It explains well why, indeed God chose Pompei.

My husband had been there before we married and had noted the abundance of ancient pornography. We went through the area around Napoli and our son and daughter visited the site but I was too tired so I chose to wait outside for them.

It is surmised that people did not flee because they believed that the god Vulcan was pleased with their worship and was rewarding them with his performance.

Thou shalt not have strange gods before me.

We can expect another performance on a grander scale.

Be prepared!
