  • What the same heck was that remark that zombie made yesterday. Having two sons in the military I am furious with him. Same club that Georgie Porgie belongs to. Same goal. Same elitist snobbery toward others.

BTW, Trinity this will get you. My dear step-son is all but done with his four years in the Marines. Guess what they have tempted him with? Since he has been such an exemplary Marine if he signs for four more years he was told they would really consider having him be one of the Marines that flies with the President in AF I. I told him not to believe and instead of their Gung Ho Cowboy Bush it could be that hellcat Hillary.

  • John Kerry mispoke. He needs to apologize and then go dark if he don't want to hurt is party to much.

    Quote
Kerry aide: Comment 'mangled in delivery'

A Kerry aide said that the prepared statement, which had been designed to criticize Bush, "was mangled in delivery."

Kerry was supposed to say, "I can't overstress the importance of a great education. Do you know where you end up if you don't study, if you aren't smart, if you're intellectually lazy? You end up getting us stuck in a war in Iraq."

This remark was meant to be a mockery of Bush, not the soldiers.

  • Dawn, I did say he should apologize for what he said. As you are close to this, your are rightly outraged by the spoken words.  But it needs to be clear that it is not what he meant to say.

He as mispoken.  I posted above the gist of what he MEANT to say.

Funny I end up defending on this board both sides of the Spectrum (Rove - Kerry) on matters of mistatements.  I hope it will show I'm not saying this out of of partisanship but only arguing what I view has healthy common sense.

The dig is that he alludes that If Bush was more educated, he would not have gotten us stuck in Irak.
