They should remember that Hitler was also laughing and on top of the world at the beginning, especially when he took over all of France and only had the UK to go... so confident he was that he thought they'd take on the USSR and just deal with the UK later...

Once these things are started, nobody controls how they will end. I pray for the innocent people on both sides who will suffer in the midst of all this.

Any objective they've had is done already, they can leave.
