There was more than one?

I was young at the time and I can only remember that they used stealth bombers to carry out some of the airstrikes.

Your probably referring to operation Desert Fox in Iraq. But there was also the US intervention in Bosnia.

Either way, I can't really make any parraleles since all situations are quite different.

Yeah, it was the one in Iraq.

I think we will at least see airstrikes on Iran. The paranoia stirred up by the media and Israel over their reactor is what's leading to it.
