I received an e-mail in which a man (no doubt a Boomer) said:
"even if they lose millions of their own soldiers (per wit Ukraine war).. they have lost millions of their own soldiers and barely made inroads to Ukraine's Eastern border."
I responded to him:
You need to get a better source for your worldview than MSN. The Mainstream Media is NOT a trustworthy source. It's embarrassing for you to be trusting such flagrant liars at this point.
Some points you will never consider, if you only watch the Mainstream Media:
1. When is the last time Russia lost any war?
2. There has been so much propaganda about Russia being out of missiles, out of tanks, Putin having Stage 5 cancer, Russia on the brink of collapse, and dozens of other nonsense talking points that turned out to be complete propaganda.
3. Russia has completely overmatched Ukraine in every category, including population, military personnel, production capacity, military innovation, artillery quantity, air power, you name it. There is no way there has been a massive lopsided kill ratio in Ukraine's favor. Most casualties are due to artillery. Russia has always been dominant there. So it doesn't even make sense.
4. Ukraine has no equivalent to the FAB bombs and Iskander missiles -- especially not in the quantity Russia can produce them.
5. The Russia-Ukraine war is a war of *attrition*. You degrade the enemy as much as you can. Any land gains are a "bonus" to your primary mission of destroying your enemy's equipment, personnel, logistics, etc. Once you reach a certain point, it all collapses at once (like bankruptcy) and then it's like an avalanche.
6. Note that the slow and steady progress has all been in Russia's favor. It shows no sign of stopping, either. If anything, it's picking up speed.
7. Russia is very down to earth and they like to "MacGyver" or jury-rig stuff. They use thousands of simpler, easier-to-produce bombs, rather than a handful of super-expensive ones. They also have more of a domestic manufacturing base, akin to 1940's America.
8. 99% of the "support" for Ukraine is actually anti-Russian sentiment -- most (especially Zelensky and Syrsky the main general) don't care what happens to Ukraine or its population -- as long as Russia is damaged.
