I'm calling it -- WW3 has begun
« on: Today at 01:38:39 AM »
I updated the "WW3 subforum" description today.

Yes, there are no mushroom clouds, but since when does Hollywood get to decide what "World War 3" is?  Who died and left them boss?

There is a nonzero chance that nukes aren't real anyhow. And you know what? If we haven't seen a mushroom cloud (i.e., a nuke set off) in the next year or two, I'm going to move from "I don't know, keeping an open mind" to "firmly convinced" that nukes don't exist.

But even if they exist, it doesn't take a nuclear exchange to christen or cut the ribbon on WW3. It's been building for the last few years, with a WW2-like war going on in Ukraine and Russia since 2022. But even then, we had other sides getting involved, and a lot of covert stuff going on behind the scenes. A lot of proxy activity by the large powers.

Have you HEARD the drumbeat of war in Europe, calling for open war with Russia? That was already insane. But just listen to any politician in any Western country. I can't even list them all here. But one theme is obvious: War is here.

The theatre of war changes from month to month, but it's the same war. Today Venezuela, tomorrow Syria, the next day Iran. But I'm seeing a big picture here, and I'm sure many of you can too.

The World is at war, once again. And didn't Albert Pike predict the Third World War would be the West and Islam duking it out, causing mutual exhaustion?

And don't forget the ECONOMIC dimension to this war. Which does more damage? Blowing up a small city, taking out a few aircraft, etc. or collapsing a modern nation's economy? I'd say the latter. And the American economy -- which props up the whole world, mind you -- is QUITE precarious and fragile to begin with...

Apart from a small percentage of people who take time to inform themselves about world events I'm sensing that the general public is just numb about WWIII or it's just too abstract for them to grasp.
We have been pummeled with one spectacle after another, almost on a weekly basis, for years now.
People engage then disengage over and over to the point of mental exhaustion so that when something of this magnitude
is actually ignited it seems mundane.
Or,
like a dog that has been kicked so many times it meekly cowers in the corner.
Inflation hasn't caused mass outrage, or the Epstein revelations, or cities turned into war zones, or any of the other countless
indignities we have suffered.
There's still sportsball, tik tok, porn, alcohol, weed, marvel movies, and video games to retreat to.

as TS Eliot foretold in The Wasteland, This is the way the world will end, not with a bang but a whimper.

We see destruction in many many countries. And terrorism...just yesterday in Nigeria, Islamists kidnapped 300 women and children etc.

Then you have in the EAST, Pakistan in trouble, Bangladesh, India not happy, Afghanistan lost, North Korea ballistic focused, the Chinese monster invading Ocean spaces, building tiny islands, claiming them and then control many miles around it; munching at the bit to invade Taiwan, Philippines sortof...

Cuba is under seige, practically speaking, Mexico is violent, Haiti (does it still exist?), Congo plagued with child ritual sacrifices, 30.5M refugees worldwide, and the list is still very long...

Today is the First Saturday of the month: Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. World peace has been entrusted to Our Lady, Deo gratias!

Rosaries / Sacrifices / Brown Scapular and in the end her Immaculate Heart
