    • This is Putin's excuse to end-run the Ukraine/NATO coupling.  He already issued the "fiddle around and find out" statement.  And, has Europe on its knees relative to energy... and as a result has the US on its heels trying to cover off on the crisis.  Putin's pulling a Reagan and has a hand full of spades.

    Between Putin's anti-Nato moves and Xi's Taiwan campaign.... we're watching a masterclass in isolation of the US/NATO enemy.

    Meanwhile, in Canuckistan...History is being wiped from museums in BC and elsewhere, because they don't fit the narrative of the flavour of the month club. Beautiful displays will be ripped apart in weeks and Canada's history erased because it is supposedly insensitive to some persons. The cancel-culture wackos are in full force.

    Canada had to follow the US in all of their woke ideology. :fryingpan: So much for Saints John Brebeuf and companions. So much for our beautiful identity and heritage. This country now resembles a giant Target store. Full of cheap junk that has lost its unique Canadian appeal.

    Close the borders, please. Canada is not the US. But we have been swallowed up by its ills from the media and Hollyweird. "Black Friday, giving Tuesday, and shop-til-you-drop," all came from the US. Many, many problems can be solved by Canada not following the example of the US. We will get stuck in war whether we want it or not, because there is no way that I can see the US sitting out from this Russia/Ukraine situation. All the woke pieces are in place-"Admiral Rachel?" Seriously? :facepalm:
    The US needs a miracle, and so does Canada. We are both hip-deep in sheep dip. :pray:

    • Kiev and Russia, not Ukraine and Russia. Malachi Martin used the word Kiev.

    Which is interesting in itself since at least 40% of Ukrainians are affable to being in the Russian sphere.  I suspect that the government in Kiev will collapse in fairly short order and a new government will make peace with Russia and the majority there will be pleased to have some measure of stability.

    Bishop Williamson sees this as NATO provocation.  See last quarter of this Boxjng Day sermon.
